Venice and PragueAntonio's travels had put him into contact with sponsors and producers of music in many other cities. So, as the charm of newness began to recede among his Venetian followers, he pursued opportunities abroad. He resurrected some of his earlier works, those that had not been performed outside our city, and delivered them elsewhere to a new round of applause.
Artabano Re dei Parti is an example of this. I heard from travelers and business associates that he had performed that opera in Prague during this year and it was well received.
