‘Avyana, wake up. Don’t let the Queen touch you. Leave immediately!’ I heard the screams of Diwali inside my head.
I instantly run away from her and I bit my arm. The ache was unbearable. I closed my eyes and I stopped running. As soon as I rested in a standing position, I found a silence that was hurting my ears and mind. I looked around me, all I could see was a glum and lifeless surrounding. I cover my ears with my hands and I rested my eyelids. I had to calm down even if the darkness was causing me pain.
