“You are the woman we’ve been looking for,” Alexander spoke in his husky voice.
I’ve been longing for his voice, waiting to be hugged by those warm arms of his. However, I cannot do it for now.
The Prince that I’ve known before is different from the King I am staring at right now. There were no signs of worry on his face as if he doesn’t care about me. I was only staring at him, not minding the people around us. I wanted to hug the Prince but I couldn’t for he seemed dangerous.
Xander pulled me back into his arms, and Alexander let go of me. He hugged me as tight as he could until I could breathe no longer.
“Don’t fall into the Queen’s trap. They will bring you to the castle and punish you. I will protect you until my last breath,” he spoke to me.
