After I made sure that he was alright on the border between the Dark Forest and the Moomin Village. I heard the cawing of my crow. It was a small crow yet a very special one, as it came from my power. The crow rested on my left shoulder and he sent me a message using telepathy. I already knew that the prince was alright and he was wondering about his situation on how did he wake up in the middle of nowhere. Indeed, everything about me has already been erased in his memories and about the Dark Forest. What a great thing. I was also hoping that our paths will never cross again and he will never be lost in this forest, in my feelings.
“Dēsistere,” I spoke softly and the crow instantly faded.
The crow is my power and it is now part of me.
