As I was letting myself be devoured by the darkness, I unexpectedly coughed blood. I opened my eyes as I felt the hard rock mattress under me. I felt the stinky smell of the animal’s blood and the good air coming from the trees. I am not inside the lifeless forest as the trees around me were beautiful, relaxing, and not creepy. So different from how I see my Dark Forest. I blinked my dark eyes several times. I grasped the old leaves on the ground.
“Whe….where am I?” I asked myself, stammering.
I lost all of my power and I cannot even get up on my feet. No one’s here to help me.
