"We have a Miss Adebayo for the top bid...And now taken over by Mr E..Mr Ryder..." the hostess had a generous smirk on her face. "Just like I thought" A whisper echoed within her. "That's not the real deal" "We now have Mr Ryder as the new owner of the Vest of Demartria." the hostess announced. A loud applause rose from the audience as they stood up and faced the table where Axel was seated. "What do we do now?" He asked staring intently at the calm smile on her face. "What we should have done a long time ago..."She began "Get the car ready. Call my father tell him it's done." She smiled while still applauding with the audience. "Oh and Leo." She called to him. "Don't let my mum know about this. We must handle this discreetly." She glared at him calmly. "Sure. We wouldn't want distractions." Leo replied and smiled as he turned to leave. "You must be Miss Adebayo." A tall, curvy lady walked up to her. "It depends on who's asking" She nonchalantly answered while still working on her tablet. "I am Tessa Ini, the director of Famouz Universal Event Centre." She declared prestigiously. Maya looked up slowly at her and expressed a smile that didn't get to her eyes but was warm. She took a quick glance at her hands and then back to her face. "Tonight might not have gone as planned seeing you've come to me now." she smirked. Tessa scowled a bit and looked at Maya. She looked away and picked up a champagne glass. The drink felt like pieces of glass passing through her throat as she gulped down nervously. Tessa smiled quiverly and closed in the gap between them both, slowly bringing her face close to Maya's's ear. "I know of your silly mischief tonight and I believe you wouldn't want to be ratted out to your boss."She whispered. An evil smile spread on Maya's lips. Maya slowly stood up from her seat, adjusted her coat and glanced at Tessa as she picked up her things on the table. "Okay. Here's his contact info."She said, handing Tessa a thick, luxurious looking card. "Should in case you lose his contact while fidgeting to call him. He'd be happy to see his girl bring information about his favorite employee. Who do you think he'd believe?" She made sure those words stuck to her. She gently tapped her arm."And don't peel off those nails from your fingers. It'd hurt." Maya smirked and turned away from Tessa. "You wouldn't get away with this Maya, I promise you that." Tessa screamed out of frustration. "But I'm walking away now!" Maya retorted with sarcasm, heels thumping on the floor confidently as she walked away. "Who was she?" A man on suit next to Axel asked. "Someone interesting." He smirked. He had a pair of binoculars staring intently at Maya's braided hair wave gracefully as she walked out the door. "You're one piece of art yourself." Axel called out to Maya. She was about to walk into the car when a deep masculine voice called out to her. She turned to see who it was. He walked closer to her puttting his hands in his pocket. "That's quite disrespectful if you ask me." Maya teased with a calm smile spreading on the corner of her mouth. "No offense but... you're quite hard to notice." Axel commented with a faint grin on his face. "I knew I could get in trouble for a moment trying to talk business with you." He continued. Maya chuckled faintly "Haha, business indeed." "Here's my card. I have a feeling we both have what we both need, don't you think?" Axel said pulling out a card from a brown wallet. Maya stared at the card in his extended hands and folded her arms. She instantly noticed the expensive latest edition Dior wallet. She looked at Axel's face. Her face slightly twitched and immediately cleared up. She smirked.
