Antigo's pov.
Antigo sprint towards the western border as fast as his feet can carry.
He didn't shift into his wolf because it was easier for Lucifer to take control in wolf form and he can't trust Lucifer until he solved 'this mate thingy' with him.
If Haven asked Lucifer to jump off the cliff he will do it without even thinking for a second. It's too risky to give Lucifer control.
I tried to track Martha's Scent but it's hard to do it since I am not in my wolf form but still, I am better than trackers because of my powers.
"Alpha, Alpha"
" What Rose? Don't tell me another one of the prisoners ran away because of your negligence
You have a good record of letting them escape these days"
" No, Alpha. Nobody ran away this time. I just want to inform you that Martha's car is missing."

Rose Said it too fast to hear by normal human ears but thanks to my enhanced hearing.

Rose continues to speak without even stopping for a breath.
" Rose, if someone kidnapped you. He will come back in 30 sec to return you and will give me money to take you back."
" Hmph. you don't know my importance But one day you will regret-"
"Stop your nonsense. I think Martha and Haven ran away by car "
" Oh. Why didn't I think of that?"
' Because you need a mind to think and you don't have that.'. I thought in my mind but didn't say because I don't have enough energy to quarrel with her.

I rolled my eyes. She will gonna do work in ' Among us'.
Sometimes I think She is an imposter in real life too.
I shake my head and try to focus.
They used a car to flee then they must have taken the main road.
I ran towards the main road. Suddenly, I catch a whiff of Martha's Scent. They went by this road.
Martha's scent is faint which means they crossed this area at least 15 minutes ago.
I follow the trail and start to run towards where Martha's Scent is strong. I didn't try on Haven's scent because She doesn't have any Scent.
When I was running my shirt got stuck in a branch.
" damn. I don't have time for this"
I tore my shirt in half and discard it and kept running.
I ran for 20 minutes when I heard a familiar voice. Although the voice was familiar but not the tone.
' She is here?'
I still couldn't see them but I can hear them clearly because of my enhanced Hearing capacity.
" I didn't kill her. She is still alive. I just tranquilized her"
Her voice is still smooth but it was not chirpy like it used to be.
"I thought, blood rose pack never trespass in other's territory but I think I was wrong ".
I stiffened when I hear my pack's name from her mouth. It was not her words that surprised me but the venomous tone she used when she said ' Blood Rose pack'
Finally, I reached there but I didn't disclose my presence.
I just stood there, looking at a familiar but unknown person. She is grown up now. Her taste in clothes is also changed a lot.
She is emitting a dangerous aura. I didn't hear what she is saying, I was too immersed in looking at her.
She is not a teenager anymore. I smile a little when she starts scolding newborn vampires around her. I remember when she used to scold Adam and me.
A look of recognition passed on her face when she noticed That it's Martha in her wolf form.
She bends down to touch her and what happens after that left me in shock.
Haven covered Martha with her small body and Signs towards Bella.
' Move away'
Bella laughed at Haven's attempt at looking strong. Haven is trembling in fear but still, She is trying to glare at Bella.
My heart warmed when I see Haven trying to protect Bella.
Is she really that pure?
Did I really misjudge her?
" let's call your alpha here. We have some matters to discuss " Bella said and I felt the need to disclose myself.
" that won't be needed"
They all turn to look at me

Rose looked at me from head to two. She observed my state and smirked.
I knew what she was going to say even before She opened her mouth.
While I was talking to Bella, I felt a heated gaze on my skin. Haven was looking at my chest and abs like a hungry lioness look at the deer.
' Pervert'
Haven licked her lower lips in an unconscious gesture.
' yeah, Surely a pervert'
I thought but the corners of my lips turn upwards.
All of a sudden, She became aware of my gaze and try to glare at me but She only looked like a scared chihuahua.
' Maybe Lucifer is right.
Maybe She is truly our mate. If she is truly our mate then I don't want to lose her because of my stupidity.
I am going to give her a chance. I won't be blind in love like Lucifer but I am going to give her a real chance.'
