The third person's pov.
Thunder roared in the sky. Blue sparks flew everywhere.
Lucas looked at the sky and his eyes widened. It was not a natural storm.
Someone caused it deliberately. He can sense strong magic from it. It's dark ancient yet undeniably strong magic.
He himself can't summon thunder like this. Not even one cloud in the sky was visible but the sound of the thunder is undeniable.
The sky was painted with a mix of dark and sparkling blue color.
Antigo didn't understand what happened. Lucas was thrown to the side like a leaf. The wind is not that strong to blow someone like him away.
Haven can't possibly throw Lucas away when she is still far away from him. Hell even if she is right behind him there is no way she can throw him away.
" Lucas if it's another one of your dirty tricks-
" It's not me but I am sure the person behind this storm is more powerful than anyone I have ever seen including myself."
Antigo doesn't want to believe Lucas but his sharp eyes can see the look on Lucas's face. He looked really thunderstruck by the thunder.
There are only three people here. If it was not him or Lucas then there is only one left.
" Haven"
He murmured. He tilted his head to look at Haven but before he can look at her The ground under him shooked violently. It prevented Antigo to see the glowing eyes of Haven.
" s**t, it's terrible. We don't have time." Lucas cursed.
Lucas starts to chant something in a foreign language.
Antigo doesn't know much about magic but He knew exactly what Lucas is doing.
Lucas is making a protecting shield around them.
" Haven"
he murmured again. This time with fear and realization.
He tried to run and reach to her but he was thrown back by a loud explosion.
* boom *
His heart sank. He can feel Lucifer scratching the walls in his mind, desperate to see her.
The explosion was loud and bright. It's almost deafening to the ear.
After everything calmed down the first thing Lucas noticed was the ground.
A pentacle symbol is now decorating the ground. It's not the first time he is seeing this.
Half side of the pentacle is bright blue and another half side is bright yellow
He saw it many times when studying ancient magic but it is the first time he saw it in these types of colors.
While on the other end Antigo's eyes are desperately searching for a person.
Although the Logical side of his mind is telling him that there is no way the girl could have survived in this lethal explosion. A little hope is shimmering in his heart.
He took tiny steps towards her, scared of the sight he will see. Lucifer is growling in his mind, trying to take control but he can't let him take control.
Lucifer thinks that Haven is their mate. Lucifer will destroy everything that will come in his way if Haven died.
He looked at the body in front of her and sighed in relief. Her body is still intact
With heavy heart, He crouched down and turned her. Her eyes are closed and there was not any visible injury on her body.
He checked her pulse. Although he can hear her heart beating still he needs to be sure that she is ok.
When he finally admitted that she is ok. He hugged her tightly. He hugged her as if he loosened his hold she will disappear
" Are you trying to suffocate her? I think you said she is not your mate then why care for nobody like her"
Lucas scoffed.
In any other circumstances, Antigo would have kicked his ass because of using this tone on him but this time there is only one person to whom he will give all his attention.
He ignored Lucas and picked Haven gently in bridal style. He walks towards the packhouse with small steps afraid that he will hurt Haven if he walked too fast.
Lucas looked at them dumbfounded. He never saw Antigo being this gentle to someone except kids.
He gazed at the strange pentacle one more time before following them. He is too curious about this human girl.
Antigo kicked the door harshly and entered with Lucas following behind him.
The pack members looked at their alpha strangely. Their Alpha always had a good reputation with women unlike other alphas who are just a manwhore, jumping from one woman to another.
It was the first time they saw their Alpha so intimate with a girl after Bella. The warriors also give weird stares to them.
Some of them knew that this girl was only a prisoner but the gentleness their alpha was showing towards the girl made them doubt.
'is she only a prisoner?' They thought but no one dared to speak.
Lucas saw the stares of the pack members and smiled coyly. He is not the only one who thinks that this girl is quite special to Antigo.
When Rose told him about the girl he didn't believe her. He thought Rose was exaggerating like always but now he won't have any doubt.
'Antigo is really smitten by a human girl.' He thought and smirked.
Antigo directly went to his room and gently laid Haven on the bed. Gwen was already waiting for him.
Antigo had mind linked Gwen immediately after the explosion.
" Save her. "
Antigo was surprised by his own words. His voice sounded like he is begging.
" I haven't gotten all information out of her so I need her to stay alive."
Antigo tried to justify himself but he knew it was just an excuse. He himself doesn't know why he needs her alive.
He doesn't know it was because of the promise he made with Lucifer or it's something entirely different but he knows that he needed to keep her safe.
He felt a strange tightness in his chests when he thought that he won't be able to see her glaring at him again.
" Alpha, I need to check her for any injuries. please wait outside"
Antigo nodded and left the room. Lucas who is silently following him now had enough.
" Who is she? why didn't you told me about her"
" I am not obliged to tell you everything that happens in my life "
he sneered at Lucas.
" Alpha, She does not have any serious injury. She was fainted due to the stress"
Antigo nodded and glared at Lucas.
Antigo entered the room and Lucas followed him
" Antigo, lis--
ah.
Lucas gasped in mid-sentence.
Antigo noticed his line of sight and he also couldn't help but gasp.
Haven is sitting on the bed, fully conscious. Her eyes were glowing bright yellow again.
it was not new for Haven but Antigo and Lucas saw it the first time. Although Antigo saw it before he doesn't remember it.
" So she is the one who summoned thunder," Lucas said
