Embarrassment
YeonA's POV
"YeonA! Wake up!" Someone started banging on the door, waking me up from my slumber. "Who has a f*****g death wish?!"
The voice quiets down before I hear footsteps entering my room, "good you're awake. Yeah you already missed most of your first class."
My eyes shoot open and I am already running to the restroom. "My alarm didn't ring! Oh my god! She's gonna kill me!" It didn't occur to me to close the door while I did my morning routine - excluding changing in the bathroom - so it was open the whole time.
"What about the others, why didn't they wake me up?" I put my messy hair in a bun and manage to brush my teeth with bits of trouble as I was completely in a rush.
"They were also running late, but unlike you, they managed to actually wake up. But don't worry, you're just thirty-nine minutes late, no biggy."
I glare at him through the mirror, "and why aren't you in school, Mr Jerkface?" His eyes snap at me, "I have been nice to you, and all I get in return is a foul-name?"
"Sorry, I'm just not a morning person," I apologise to him for the first time, finishing off then starting to brush my hair. "Anyways why aren't you in school?"
He doesn't answer, so I make this my cue to turn around and face him, only to have him quickly avert his gaze. "Just hurry up and get dress." He clears his throat and leaves.
I stare at his retreating back for a couple of moments before allowing my feet to leave the restroom and enter my room, closing the door behind me.
"What was that for? Why didn't he just answer my question?" I shake the thought and open my closet doors, picking out whatever came to mind.
White blouse that wraps around the neck by a plastic gold neck-hem and no sleeves. Then I grab a pair of black ripped skinny jeans and a pair of black ankle boots.
I grab my backpack and leave my room, not forgetting to grab my phone. I went to the living room to collect my black top coat when I suddenly get surprise when Mingyu is leaning on the table, one hand in his pocket and the other typing something on his phone.
"Mingyu?" I call out to him, grabbing his attention. He looks up questiongly, "Oh right. They took your car."
And that's when the life in me drains away. "So now I have to take the bus," I sigh loudly and head for the door when Mingyu beats me to it.
"Nope," he pops the 'p' and opens the door instead, "I'm taking you instead." He opens the door wider, letting me leave first. "Why would you? I mean no offense but we don't really see eye to eye on things."
"Yeah I know, but after what happened last night, I just can't seem to grasp the situation I've gotten myself into."
We leave the lobby and are now heading our way to the parking lot. The only vehicle we see is a Gold Audi R8 V1.
"Where's your car?" He simply points to the 2016 supercar. "No seriously, where's your car?" He doesn't say anything but only laughs.
He takes out his keys and presses the unlock button. As he did so, the supercar unlocks the doors and I am now met with amazement.
"Stop fantasizing about it, it's weird," he says and gets into the driver's seat. "I don't even want to touch something so holy." I tell myself.
I slowly open the door, cautiously, as if it was to brake any minute. "Stop acting like that and get your ass in!" I did as told and manage not to make a single mistake as I sit slowly on the soft leather seat.
"What do your parents do?" I know that this question will be too much for my brain to hold.
"My father is a businessman who has sold over two hundred stocks in the past three months. He's the owner of three hotels, one somewhere in Saudi Arabia, another in Hong Kong, and another in Tokyo."
"He also owns two public malls which are both in China and Japan. Three state parks, two in America and one in China. He's even the founder of sss's cousin, Korzon."
"And your mother?"
"My mother is an FBI agent - well shes actually The Head of the FBI headquarters. She even owns three facilities: the main headquarters in America, which is in New York, China but they gave it a different name, and South Korea, also a different name. She even knows The Head of the CIA in America as well as the SIA and DEA in Mexico."
"The first my mom owned were supercars sponsored by Audi, which first located in Saudi Arabia."
Oh. My. God. All this information is too much to handle.
"Damn you filthy rich Asians." I blurt out and sigh. "You're here, all boosting about yourself when I can't even afford a bag of chips."
"Well if you want, you can apply as an intern for one of the companies. My father doesn't act like the worse. He's very friendly when it comes to my friends, especially other than SEVENTEEN."
He laughs at his last words. "Especially them? Why's that?" He shrugs his shoulders, "Supposedly they're the reason why I'm leaning more to my music career than my business career."
"But didn't you debut like last year or something?" He nods his head. "I guess we'll have to wait and see what the future will bring us."
An intern at one of his father's company?

We had just arrived at school. "Thanks, for the ride, Mingyu." I awkwardly say and open the door, climbing out. As I didn't hear anything from him, I close the door and start to make my way over to the entrance of the school.
"I see someone's late," I hear one of the janitor's closet door open before they stepped in, leaving me alone. I continue walking until I see my first period class - Language Arts.
"Ah! Glad you decided to join us Mrs. Kim," I shyly smile at Mrs. Park, bowing my head as I make my way to the top. I sit down nervously, placing my backpack on the side.
I take a quick peek to my left to see the man with white hair, staring back at me. Once I notice the realisation, I quickly snap my head to the front.
"I saw that," I jump a little as I hear Minji's voice suddenly right besides me. "Since when were you there?" I question her.
"Since before you came," she whispers. "How'd you get here? We took your car," she tells me. "I got a ride." Those four words brought an astonishment to her face.
"Did Mingyu bring you here?" Her eyes were wide open - including her mouth. As I nod my head, they grew more. "Is he not acting like such an ass around you anymore?"
Since I honestly don't know how to answer her, I just shrug my shoulders. "I honestly don't know anymore. But that's not the weird part," I tell her honestly, "he was the one who woke me up."
"So you're telling me that Mingyu was already there when you woke up?" I nod my head at her curiosity. "And then he drove you to school?"
"That is weird," she comments. "I guess he's finally letting his guard down around us." She smiles a little before her smiles forms into a micheviously one. "Unless he has a thing for you." She raised her eyebrows nonstop, teasing me.
"Psh! Mingyu having a thing for me sounds like a joke to my ears." I laugh at her way of thinking. "That or someone else," she quiets down her voice.

Dance finally came and again, we are still learning the waltz.
"Okay, so today we'll do something different. I will choose a partner, and whoever gets chosen, together, you come up to the front and demonstrate everything you know."
Everyone walks to the back and sit just around the walls. "First person," Taeyang reaches into a bucket full of folded pieces of papers.
"Oh Sehun!" Sehun and EunMi stand up and make their way to the front. "Start position!" Sehun and EunMi start by their backs facing the mirrors and their fronts facing the audience.
They straighten their back, chin up high, hands in position on one another. "And start-"
My attention turned to the man next to me as he suddenly whispers, not facing me. "I heard what happened yesterday."
"Shownu told you?" He doesn't say anything but nods instead. "What exactly did he tell you?" My mind was getting all fuzzy after I asked him the question.
"Mostly everything." I nod my head, "Oh," understanding his simple words. His voice was so deep and raspy that I feel like I find myself lost in the sea.
"The next couple is . . . Wonho!" My eyes shoot open as I see him already at the front, waiting for me. I nervously stand up and make my way over to his right side.
"Start position!" We copied the exact postures as Sehun and EunMi did. "You may begin." I place my left hand on his right one, then taking a step with our right foot.
After the second step, I was about to bring my hip outwards when I remembered that it was after the third step. Wonho quickly caught on and pulls me to him so that we are now facing each other with only mere inches in between.
I feel a lump stuck in my throat as I realise the sudden closeness of our bodies. My hands are starting to shake, my forehead is starting to have sweat and I can feel my stomach tunring in different directions.
Shit! What is happening to me? Why am I suddenly so nervous?
I swear I feel like different emotions are swirling and cursing through my body. My mind feels like the walls are caving in, wanting to trap me in. Almost as of threatening me.
We then start to move - his left foot forward and my right foot backward, then my left foot forward and his right foot backward.
As we're almost getting the hang of it, my right foot accidently steps on his left foot. "Sorry," I mouth to him, smiling apologetically. He squeezes my hand a bit, probably to cease the pain.
I mentally face-palm as I step on the same foot again. "Sorry." I mouth with the same apologetic smile.
What is wrong with me?! Why am I stepping on such a handsome man?!
"Okay, I think we should let this couple rest," Taeyang steps in, separating us both. I smile shyly and go back to where I was sitting before.
I hide my face between my knees, hiding myself from all the embarrassment I just put myself through in front of not one, not two, but four idols. Unless it's actually five.

We now have a free hour in our dance class. The couples dispersed and all females came to me. Instead of kindly asking me, they literally dragged me to the corner, surrounding me.
"Are you two like a thing?" The black haired one, Juhie, questions me first. I blink at her twice before shaking my head. "Why? Do you think we are?" She's not the only one who nods her head.
"Honestly, you two make a perfect couple!" EunMi, Sehun's partner, claps her hands cheerfully, smiling like a little kid. "And you all think this?" I look at the other two.
"Honestly, we wouldn't doubt that you two will become a thing sooner or later," Hye-Jin, Jungkook's partner, has a foot under the other, leaning on it.
"Whether it's as friends with benefits or a couple that has s*x like every other night-"
"Jenin!" Jung-Min, I'm guessing her close friend, scoffs at her, slapping her playfully on the shoulder. "Don't be such a tease."
"Sorry, it slipped," Jenin, Hye-Jin, shrugs her shoulders like its no big deal. "Jenin?" EunMi questions.
"Jenin is my nickname name. Since we grew up together, she calls me Jenin and I call her Menin. People say we used to look alike, except she has red hair and I have brown hair."
"And your families know each other?" EunMi questions more. "My father used to date her mother. But they broke up and are now back with their own . . . partner."
Yikes!
"Well that is something," Juhie comments, getting a wave of laughter from us four. "What are your thoughts on being partners with idols?"
"My life has become a bless!" EunMi screams so loud that we got weird looks from the men. "I mean first of all, who would have known that a lowlife looking potato such as myself would be going to a school full of idols of all ages? Much less dance with one."
"I mean I get to sit next to GOT7's leader, dance with EXO's maknae, and have a full on conversation with BTS' rapper and composer."
"Dang! Well I get to sit in between SEVENTEEN's Vernon and Seungkwan because they're always talking nonstop, I sit in front of a trainee name Wooyoung, I sit behind Woozi, to my left is Wooseok from PENTAGON and to my right is Yanan, also from PENTAGON." Says Hye-Jin
"You guys are lucky! I don't have any classes with any idols but this one," Juhie comments, looking all down and depressed.
"But you know what's even better? I heard about a rumor that an idol from SEVENTEEN shares a dorm with three females. And they are the lucky ones-" I cut Jung-Min off.
"No I'm not." All eyes widen at me. "Sharing a dorm with Kim Mingyu isn't something anyone should feel lucky." Their mouths then widen.
"You're the one that shares a dorm with a male?!" The whole room turns silent. When I face the other side, the males even had surprised looks on their faces.
"Wait- you're THE KIM YEONA? The one who shares a dorm with Mingyu?" Rocky from ASTRO points at me. I slowly nod my head.
The only one who doesn't look so surprise is Wonho - I'm pretty sure he knew already from Shownu. And I'm guessing Sehun too as I can tell he got the news from his group's mate.
"That is honestly so cool," Hye-Jin pops a gum inside her mouth, chewing it. "So have you guys had s*x?" And she was given another slap on the shoulder by her best friend. "Jenin! Don't meddle into other people's s*x life!"
These girls are fun to hang out with. That reminds me. I take out my phone, go to my messages, and open my chat with Shownu.
Is it okay if
I invite some
of my other
friends?
I waited for five minutes until he replies.
YeonA, you
don't have
to ask me
You can
invite as
much as
you like
Okay, tnx
Any time
I put my phone away and look up at the girls. "Are you all free after school?" They all nod their heads quickly. "I'm going to a party this afternoon, well it's more like a get-together, and I was wandering if you girls would like to come."
"Sure, I mean I'm pretty sure none of us have anything important to do after school," EunMi speaks for the girls - in which they eventually agreed.
"Okay, I will text you all the address and time later once the hosts tells me himself-"
"The host is a he? Who?" EunMi scoots closer to me, wanting to get more into the drama. "Shownu-" I got cut off by the same person.
"Is he an idol?" I shake my head. "At least I don't think so," I bob my head, trying to remember if I ever heard anything of him mentioning something about being an idol.
"Well as long as he's hot, I'm okay with it." She shrugs her shoulders, now looking like of she's fantasizing over him. "Well he's hot," I tell her.
"Okay you already have a man, you can't have two at the same time," she tells me. "I don't have a man though."
"Yes you do. His name is Won-!" "EUNMI!" Now this time, us four females yell out her name, warning her with our eyes - including Hye-Jin.
"I swear I think you two are like soulmates that are meant to become best friends due to how stupid and childish and inhumane you both act," Jung-Min shakes her head at both Hye-Jin and EunMi, scoffing in the end.
"You have your mother's genes don't you?" I question her, getting a laugh from her instead. "I honestly do." She breaks out a smile, then chuckles.
I feel at home when I was talking to them this whole time. I hope we get to spend more time together as friends.
And I'm not only talking about dance class.
