Chapter Eleven

1030 Words
Upon arriving at the party, my brothers and I made quite the entrance, each of us pulling up in our own stylish cars. We came prepared with a vehicle for each of us, just in case we needed to give anyone a ride home later on. Our expensive cars were definitely a head-turner, and we received several nods of approval and flirtatious glances from the women in attendance. As we walked in, we were greeted with a chorus of admiring comments about our vehicles and our sense of style. The "she wolves," as we affectionately called them, couldn't help but giggle and give us flirty eyes as we strolled by. But for us, this was just another night, and we took it all in stride. We grabbed a couple of beers and made our way over to the lounge area, where we watched as partygoers took turns doing keg stands and other wild antics. Our friend Lyle, who we often refer to as our future "beta," approached us with a big grin on his face. "YOOO, so many options tonight, guys! Let's have some fun," he exclaimed. Jax chimed in with a fist pump and a laugh. "Would it even be us if we did anything different?" I rolled my eyes at their antics, but I couldn't help but feel a thrill of excitement at the prospect of a wild night ahead. Just then, Lyle let out a gasp and pointed towards a group of people across the room. "Wooooahhhh, what about her?" he said. I followed his gaze and saw Rose and Mauve standing together, deep in conversation. My heart sank as I realized that Mauve had ignored my instructions to stay away from the party. I was FURIOUS. *Mauve's POV * As I stood there, taking in the scene before me, I couldn't help but feel out of place. I had come to the party with Rose, not because I wanted to be there, but because I knew it was better than the alternative of staying home and facing my abusive family. Rose, on the other hand, was ecstatic. She squealed with delight as she looked around, clearly thrilled to be there. My gaze was drawn to one of the triplets, who was staring daggers at me from across the room. I couldn't understand why he seemed so angry with me, especially since I had never even met him before. As I walked over to confront him, I couldn't help but notice how handsome he was, despite his scowl. "What is your problem?" I demanded, crossing my arms as I looked up at him. "Did you not get my note or are you as stupid as you look and thought you should come anyway?" Brett sneered, his words dripping with disdain. "Yes, I got your silly warning, but no one tells me what I can and can't do," I replied, trying to keep my voice steady. "And for your information, I'm not stupid." At this point, a few people had started to stare at us, but I didn't care. I wasn't going to let this guy intimidate me. I grabbed the beer from his hand and downed it in one gulp, chucking the cup back in his direction before walking away. "Yesssss queen!" Rose screamed, running after me and grabbing my arm. "You tell him! You take s**t from no one! Let's get drunk!" I smiled, feeling a surge of pride and empowerment. Maybe this party wouldn't be so bad after all. As the party continued, Rose made her way over to a guy she had her eye on and flung herself onto his lap, staring at him intently. I couldn't help but chuckle at the scene before me, but when I turned again, I saw that they had started making out rather passionately. I shook my head and decided to head back inside to get another drink. As I made my way through the crowded living room, I was suddenly greeted with a kiss on the lips from a random boy . The boys cheered as he walked outside, leaving me standing there in shock. I couldn't help but giggle at the unexpected turn of events. But the party was only getting started. As I looked around, I saw the triplets getting cosy with Poppy's friends. I couldn't help but wrinkle my nose in disgust at the sight. That's when I heard Poppy's voice calling out to me. "Whoring yourself about now?" she sneered. "Excuse me?" I asked, turning to face her. "You heard me, you dumb b***h," she screamed. Before I could even react, I felt myself being pulled into someone's arms and dragged into another room. It was Mike, laughing and telling me to calm down. "I could have taken her," I muttered, still fuming. "Sure, sure," Mike said, rolling his eyes. "Just not the place for it." He handed me a water and told me to stay seated. I huffed and stormed off in the opposite direction, downing a few more drinks as I went. I couldn't believe what had just happened. As I stumbled outside, I found myself on the edge of the woods. That's when I felt someone's arms wrap around me, sweeping me off my feet. I was so drunk that I couldn't make out a face, so I started poking and prodding at the person, laughing uncontrollably. "Will you sort yourself out, Mauve?" a deep voice said, trying to keep a straight face. "Yes sir," I giggled, saluting the stranger. Suddenly, I was splashed with water. "You need to sober up," the voice said. "Yes ma'am," I giggled again, still unable to see straight. That's when I heard a growl behind me. I turned around to see Brett smirking at me, and before I could even say a word, he pulled me into a deep kiss. Our tongues battled for dominance, and I couldn't help but hiss once he pulled away. "What's this?" he asked, sweeping my hair away from my face. My mind went blank. I couldn't think of anything to say. That's when I felt the room start to spin, and before I knew it, I passed out.
