Miles grabbed the remote, his grin mischievous as he started scrolling through options. “Action? Horror? Or... something more... romantic?” He wiggled his eyebrows at me, and I felt my cheeks heat up. “Romantic? Really, Miles?” Jax said, rolling his eyes, but there was a playful tone to his voice. “Let’s not scare her off.” “I’m not scared,” I said quickly, glancing at Jax. “But I’m fine with whatever.” We settled on a classic action movie, and the room was soon filled with the sounds of explosions and dramatic music.
