Chapter 12 The warmth from the fire flickered against my skin. I was sure the light did too, but I’d have to open my eyes to discover whether that was true or not. I was surprised I’d fallen asleep at all. I didn’t sleep during the day, mostly because I knew that once I started, it’d be a habit I couldn’t break, and with the blood exhaustion...yes.
