Aldo walked into my office, a somber look on his face. “Boss, I got the results of the autopsy,” he said, handing me a folder.
I took the folder from him and opened it, scanning the contents. My eyes widened as I read the words ‘cause of death; heart attack.’
I looked up at Aldo, my expression skeptical. “A heart attack?” I repeated, my voice loud.
Aldo nodded. “That's what the report says.” His voice sounded more stimulant. Or is it my ear?
I shook my head, feeling a surge of anger and frustration. A heart attack? That was impossible. The guy was healthy, strong. How can someone like him have a heart attack?!
I tossed the folder onto my desk, my mind racing with possibilities
