Tears that have deeper meaning

Soonyang decided not to take the board examination right away for the reason that she knew herself that she's not yet prepared for it. She decided to work for now to gain experiences and even to save finances because she wanted to help her family just as how other child could ever deire.

Soonyang's job interview had finished and she's walking her way towards the mall's department store to buy some stuff before going home when Ji called her.

["So, how's the interview, Soons?"]

"I got the job, Ji. I'm so happy. I'm walking my way home now."

["Are you sure you don't want to take the board exams muna?"]

"Yes, Ji. I'm sure now. I don't think I'm ready for that as of now."

["What did tita and kuya Jooheon said about it? Diba they both wanted you to take the boards."]

"Wala naman problema kay Mama. I have told kuya Jooheon narin. I'll call him later para ibalita na I got the job. He wanted me to take the boards ofcourse, pero he honored what I wanted for now but he made me promised na magte take parin ako when there comes an opportunity. How about you? Kamusta ang reservation?"

["Eto kagagaling ko lang ng dorm for inquiries and reservation, next week ko dadalhin mga gamit ko. Nakapag enrol narin ako for review center. Wish me luck, Soons."]

"I'll pray for you always."

["Thanks Soons, by the way, I gotta go na. Natatakot narin ako dito, alam mo na, baka masnatch phone ko. Pabyahe narin ako pauwi. Bye."]

"Alright, alright. Ingat. Love you."

Soonyang tried to call his brother after her call with Ji. Soonyang can't reach Jooheon as of the moment so she just messaged him through his social media accounts.

It's odd, Kuya never turned off all of his socmed accounts kahit pa gaano siya ka busy. What's with him today?

After sending her messages to her brother, Soonyang bumped to a man. He apologizes without even looking at him but the man called him. "Soonyang."

As Soonyang held her head up and turned to see who was it, "Kuya Woo?"

Soonyang came to her senses when she realized that she bumped with him because she's busy using her phone while walking.

"I'm really sorry, Kuya Woo. I'll never use phone while walking na talaga."

"Yes, you should. Napakadelikado kaya. By the way, saan ka galing?"

"I've got a job interview from the company you suggested."

Yes, Woo got to help Soonyang for her Job applications and even refer her to various employers. They communicated well after Woo's confession, just as how they promised.

"How was it?"

"Hmm- it's totally fine. I got the job already."

"Are you sure you don't want to take the boards muna? I think I can help you sa review."

"Pass muna ako, kuya Woo. I don't think I can do that this time. Maybe next year. Ikaw? Kamusta pala? Malapit na ang exam."

"Eto, tamang self review nalang kasi tapos na kami sa review center. Trying not to cram and panic para clear parin ang mind."

"Nice. So, mauna na po ako. Hinahanap na ko ni Mama e. May pinapabili kasi sya."

"Want me to give you a ride? Dala ko kotse ko, nasa parking lot."

"Huwag na, kuya Woo. Salamat nalang. Ingat ka."

"I Insist, Soons. Its been weeks din since hindi tayo nakakapag kamustahan. Para di ka na pumila sa terminal."

"Alright. Pero may mga bibilhin pa ko sa supermarket and department store."

Woo even accompanied Soonyang on buying something from the mall's department store. Soonyang felt awkward the whole time she's with Woo but she make sure that Woo didn't notice it. On the other hand, Woo seemed to be so calm and chill with her as if no confession happened.

Ever since his confession, Woo knew that Soonyang have something she wanted to say. He's not sure of whats preventing Soonyang to say it but Woo wanted it to be easy for Soonyang. So as much as he could, he made today's encounter with Soonyang an opportunity for her to be able to say whatever it is.

Woo kept on looking at Soonyang on her side while driving her home. It is obvious that he's trying to make the atmosphere for them to be light by telling Soonyang everything that happened after his confession. But it is also obvious that Soonyang finds it hard to open up.

They've reached Soonyang's house without even hearing a word from the latter. She just thanked him and waved as she exits Woo's car.

Woo knows that he have to do something for Soonyang to know what's bothering the girl he likes. She's not wearing the necklace yet, it can be the reasong why Soonyang felt awkward with me.

Soonyang went straight to her room and locked herself. The moment she dropped herself on her bed to lie, tears finally falls from her eyes. Tears that means a lot. Tears that wanted to say something. She wept in regret. She wanted to tell Woo everything but her heart was still afraid and worrying. She got the necklace that Woo gave her from her bedside table and looked at it. How she wanted to wear it and go to Woo to say her answer, but she's still locked from what happened from the past. She knows that her heart was grieving because it screams Woo but she didn't know what to do.
