Thomas frowned and looked embarrassed, “Lily, let’s stay out of this and get out of here.”
“Dad, you save him.”
“No!”
“Hmph, if you don’t save him, I will.” Lily said, about to jump into the sea to save him.
“Eh!” Thomas immediately pulled her back, “Alright, alright, I’ll save, you stay put.”
He helplessly glared at his daughter, took out the life preserver, jumped into the sea and swam towards the man.
Not long after, Thomas finally dragged the man onto the deck of the fishing boat.
After a bit of rescuing, the man finally came to his senses.
“Cough!” He coughed violently and spat out several mouthfuls of seawater, his eyelids fluttering open.
Lily was sitting on the deck, staring at him with wide eyes, her heart pounding wildly.
How in the world could there be such a good-looking man?
Even pale and drenched, he couldn’t hide his handsome and reserved demeanor.
“Do you remember anything?” Lily tried to approach him, but was pulled away by her father.
“Dad, why are you pulling me?”
“Stay right next to me, I have something to ask this boy.”
“Dad!” Lily defied.
“Shut up!” Thomas drew up his voice.
Lily grunted and obediently stood behind her father.
Miao Guang stared intently at the man, “Who the hell are you? How did you end up floating on the sea?”
The man scanned around in confusion, only feeling a splitting headache.
“I ..... I don’t remember ...... ” His voice was hoarse and weak.
“Don’t remember?” Thomas looked at him with a wary look on his face, “You’re not faking, are you?”
“I’m warning you, if you get any bad ideas, I won’t spare you.”
“Dad, he just woke up, his mind must still be confused, can you not be so aggressive?”
Like a loach, Lily nimbly scurried out from behind her father and blocked in front of the man.
“He needs to rest now, if there are any questions, it’s not too late to ask them when he’s rested enough.”
Thomas saw his daughter’s rarefied look and was furious, “You ah you, really ...... ”
“Forget it, anyway, when we get ashore, we’ll call the police and hand him over to the police station, so we don’t have to worry about it.”

Thomas ended the day’s fishing program early and turned the boat around to head back towards Amo Island.
Lily found spare clothes for the man to change into and poured him a cup of hot tea.

Thomas shook his head repeatedly when he saw this.
When had his own daughter ever been so considerate? When she looked at a strange man, it was as if she had lost her soul.
He, as a father, had never enjoyed this kind of treatment.
On the way back to the ship, Lily kept staring at the older brother, and was almost mesmerized.
Suddenly a bold idea flashed through her mind.
Her eyes lit up, she stood up, ran to her father’s ear, and lowered her voice to say: “Dad, why don’t we not call the police.”
Thomas was shocked, “How can that work?”
“Why not?” Lily raised an eyebrow at him, “Didn’t you always say the family was short of a helper?”
“Look at his body, he’s a strong man, he can definitely help us out.”
Thomas carefully sized up the man for a few moments, pondered for a while, and finally agreed with a smile.
“Okay.”
“Great!”
Lily was so excited that she almost jumped up and down, but had to hold it in on the boat.
Eventually, father and daughter named the man June and took care of him like family.
Alex grew accustomed to the hard life on the island.

Sophie froze for a moment but didn’t say anything and continued with her breakfast.
Alex suddenly spoke up, “Lily, Sophie cares about you too, you shouldn’t have this attitude.”
Lily’s breath hitched.
This was the second time her brother had lectured her over a woman.
She was so aggrieved that the words in her heart came out.
“What attitude did I have? I’m telling the truth, I’m just not that pretentious when it comes to my diet, and this is a lecture?“
“Lily!” said Alex in a cold tone.
“Okay, I’m full.” Lily put down her chopsticks, “You guys take your time to eat, I’ll leave you guys alone so I don’t have to get lectured again.”
After saying this, she pulled out her legs and ran away.
Sophie’s afterglow swept her eyes at Alex, realizing that his expression didn’t change much as he continued to feed the child in his arms.
“Daddy, is Aunt Lily angry?”
“No, she’s just full.”
Teddy smiled, “Then I’m full too.” He smiled, rubbing his round little tummy.
Alex looked over to the baby-sitter and signaled for her to take the baby away.
Only the two of them were left in the dining room.
After finishing breakfast, Sophie put down her chopsticks, “Alex, do you want to explain to Lily?”
“I’ll go to her, after all, we’re family, there’s no need for conflict.”
Alex didn’t raise his head, “No need, no need to spoil her, she’s just spoiled, just air it out.”
Sophie wondered in her heart.
This isn’t right.
How could Alex treat her rescuer with such indifference?
