9 It didn’t take long. After she had emptied the cart, she wheeled it back over to the service elevator where another cart was waiting, but it had only half a load, large format photography books of the coffee-table variety. She considered letting Charlie know where she was but decided against it. He was happy with his pile of poetry books and didn’t seem interested in moving. If he needed her, he’d find her.
