Forty~Eight Days Before I was walking to the woods remembering that black wolf that I saw here watching me a couple of days ago.  "What the hell are you doing?" Ian shouted from behind me. "Just uh taking a walk..." I said turning to face him.  "At three in the morning? Come on Ana, it's cold." Ian said softly. Once I walked up to him, he was about to unwrap himself. Until I stopped him. I then wrapped one arm around his waist while the side of my head was against his chest. "You'll be cold too. Let's just head home." I said while looking straight at the woods. "Okay." He whispered while kissing the top of my head. We then turned to face the house, and started to walk back only to find my dad standing there on the porch  with a small smile plastered on his face. "Hey you two, it's good to see my children bond." He smiled. "Love you too daddy." I informed him softly. "Good night princess, now since I just got home, I'm going to make me and your mother have one sleepless night." He stated with a smirk. "Ya! You go dad!" Ian rooted once we got on the porch. "Gross, now I'm going to have a nightmare." I added while opening the front door and walking inside the house. About five hours later, I got out of bed and stretched my arms up in the air. "Hey sweetie, mom couldn't make breakfast because she had to leave early with Vince so we're just going to have cereal." My dad said while popping his head in my doorways "Okay dad." I say. My dad can't cook. I mean, he can cook some things but not any breakfast foods I can tell you that. I took off my pajamas and threw on black leggings and a pink and brown striped sweater, with tan UGGS. I then walked out of my bedroom and down the stairs. Then into the dining room, to see Ian eating his cereal while looking down at his phone. "What would you like?" My dad asked from the kitchen. I took a seat across from Ian and looked at my phone. "Reese's Peanut Butter Puffs." I shout at him. "Sheesh little sis, why do you have to be so loud?" Ian asked while rubbing his temples. "Because big brother, I'm in a pretty good mood today and you're not going to ruin it capisce!?" I asked while glaring at him. "Yeah whatever." He sighed. My dad then placed a bowl of cereal in front of me with a spoon in it, and then a glass of apple juice. Also, he kissed the top of my head and sat down at his usual spot the end of the table. We then began to eat our breakfast in peace and quiet. Then we heard a soft knock on the door, which made my dad stand up and walk out of the dining room. To go answer it. "Who do you think it is?" Ian asked looking at the doorway that our dad walked through. "Probably Vince's girlfriend Denise." I sighed while drinking my apple juice remembering Denise. "He doesn't have girlfriends." Ian explained puzzled. "No, but she thinks that he's her boyfriend so I'm just going to point out that they're a couple." I informed while looking out the window. It's a pretty cloudy day. "It's supposed to rain all this week and next week." He says. Before I could reply, our dad walked in with a golden invitation. "We invite the Bennett household to a royal masquerade ball the day after tomorrow at night held by the royal family. So please dress properly and be there at five at night." My dad said reading off the invite. "A ball? Well then it looks like I have to take Vince with me to get our tuxedos as soon as possible." Ian explains standing up. "Ah yes, I have a bunch of tuxedos, I'll have your mom help me choose which one to wear." He sighed. "When will she be off work? I have to get a dress." I asked finishing my breakfast. "No later than three. I'll call her and tell her. Ian, you make sure that you have no plans, and I'll call the hospital and tell them that I need the day off tomorrow." He tells us then excuses himself from the dining room. "Ugh, can I just stay home? I really don't want to get all dressy fancy like to some party hosted by a bunch of Royal stuck ups who think they're better than the rest of us." I explain matter of factly.  "The invitation says Bennett household, as in all of us. Trust me, I don't want to go to this event anymore than you do. And I'm 200% sure that Vince wouldn't want to attend this thing either." Ian informs me while I'm following him into the kitchen to wash our dishes. "I still think it's a waste of time. Why make a ball when you can just go into town and introduce yourselves right there." I explained exasperated. "Ditto. And we aren't in the U.S anymore. This is our home now. So we might as well get used to the culture and traditions." He sighs. ~•~ "I like this one." My mom says as we were going dress shopping. "Well mom that's a little too flashy for some ball." I stated while looking at the major cleavage. "It's never too flashy for your dad." She chuckles looking at the dress. "Okay I'll be in the young adult dresses." I sigh. Then I walk over to the dresses for young adults and I looked at some gold dress, and roll my eyes. Too many sparkles. Everyone's eyes would be on me, and not the royal family. I came across a light pink floor length dress and I instantly liked it. This dress is the one for me. I picked it out and saw that it was in a medium which was definitely my dress size, so I smiled and took it with me to show my mom. "You found one?" She asked while looking at me then inspecting the dress and smirked. "This is the one for you Ana. Just sit down and wait for me." She tells me while holding up a silver one. I sat down and waited for my mom to choose her dress. I really don't want to go, I just wanted to stay home. "Okay, I found one." My mom finally says while holding up a gold sparkly floor length dress. "Can we go home now?" I ask annoyed because I hated that dress. "Yes sheesh, what crawled up your butt?" She asked while taking out her wallet. "Nothing." I muttered. I don't want to tell her that I don't like the dress, because then she would put it back and look throughout the entire store for a different one, and that would take hours and leave three hungry guys at home mad. After she paid for the dresses, we got in the car and my mom started to drive back home. Forty~Seven Days Before The next day, it was a horrible thunderstorm. And I was outside under a tree waiting for a good opportunity to run back into the house. "Hey when you die, can I have your laptop?" Vince asked/yelled. "No!! Because Vince you're too much of an i***t to be trusted with my expensive things!!" I yell back at him. My mom, dad Ian and Vince are on the porch waiting for me to run across. Of course my mom being a mom is holding a beach towel for me. But still is trying not to laugh. "Just run across Ana, it isn't that hard sweetheart." My dad yells. I sighed, then prayed and started to scream and run. When I made it on the porch, my mom wrapped the towel around me. And kissed my cheek. We all went inside the house, the air conditioning instantly making me freeze to death. Ian must of seen me, because he turned down the ACE. "How about some nice homemade broccoli and cheddar soup?" My mom asked while removing her arm from around me. "Sounds good honey. I have some more work stories to tell you guys." My dad informs everyone while walking up the stairs. "Is the game on?" Vince asks. "I think so." Ian chuckles while taking a seat next to him on the couch. "Good, I don't want to watch that garbage Ana watches." Vince says smirking at me. "The Vampire Diaries isn't garbage!! What's garbage is p**n!!" I shout annoyed. "Hey now, what did p**n ever do to you little girl?" Ian asks. "What did the Vampire Diaries ever do to you!? Hmm?" I ask putting my hands on my hips. "She's just jealous because she can't be pretty like the p**n stars." Vince explains while looking for p**n on the TV guide. "It's just that you're plain." Ian adds while looking at me. "Thanks." I muttered while taking the towel off and walking up the stairs. I overheard my dad on the phone. "What? Are you sure they are wolves!?" He asks shocked. "I'm positive Stefan. Us and our families are the only humans in this damn messed up town." Some guy informs him. "So a wolf, was really watching my daughter days ago?" My dad asks with wide eyes. "Yes, now I don't know much of the wolf that saw her. But I do know that black wolf, is indeed an Alpha male wolf that was watching her." He stated matter of factly. "Why is this wolf interested in my daughter?" My dad asks annoyed. "I'll let you know what else I can find out for you." Phone guy says then hangs up. I power walked into my bedroom and changed my clothes. There was a knock and my dad walks in with a frown on his face. "I'm sorry. I believe that you saw a wolf watching you. I just didn't expect that there would be wolves among us." He sighs while running a hand through his hair. "It's okay." I sigh. "Now your mom has some soup ready, so let's go." He chuckles. Later on, when it was night time and clear, I sat outside and watched the full moon. "Beautiful huh?" Vince asks while sitting down next to me. "Yeah I guess, who's Denise? She claimed that she is your girlfriend and is apparently mad." I ask not looking away from the moon. "Eh some clingy slut that I slept with twice. Once at home, and this morning she begged me to screw her in the break room at the restaurant and I of course happily obliged." He smirked to himself. That's gross. He's such a pig. "That's gross Vince." I inform disgusted. "Eh well she's got a sexy ass. Of course I would bang her." He laughed. I stood up and walked back inside. Not really wanting to be near STD Vince for the night. Or hopefully forever.
