Coal Mining was hard Work

Coal mining was hard work for Stephen. Stephen worked so many long hours. Alot of times Stephen came home dirty. Stacy had to heat his water some he could wash up or, takes bath. He was black from working in the coal mines. He would first wash up and, eat his supper. That night there was fried chicken, hot mashed potatoes, cream style corn , and hot rolls. He had ice tea to drink. There was apple pie for desert. it was getting close where Trebor and Robert were close to eating baby food. It will not many more months . There now four months old . They smiled at their mom and dad and. made cooing sounds. Daddy smiled at his son's. Little Stephen came in for dinner from the creek ,because he knew it was dinner time and he proudly displayed his tadpoles and frog that he had in a jar. Daddy looked at Stephen. Stephen had to wash his hands for dinner. Michaela helped him so he could change his clothes and ,wash his hands. He sat at his place at the table . Soon the farm hand came in also and Michaela and ,Stacy served dinner and ,sat down and took their places at the table to eat dinner. Dinner looked really good for real. We all prayed and. thanked God for our food once everyone was sitting around the table.

They all ate and ,were getting full. Dinner was so delicious. Now it was time to eat desert and. they ate apple pie. After dinner it was time for family devotions. We all sat and, listened to dad the Family Bible. We all prayed before going to get ready for bed. Once asleep we all slept good in our beds.
