Chapter 16Rob Rob looked at his leg and smirked. “Well, hello there,” he greeted the pale skin and bony calf. He couldn't complain though. It had healed in record time and the cast had just been removed, eight weeks after the accident. His arm, with an even faster recovery, was looking almost normal. The body's inner wisdom was really astonishing. He knew that bones didn't exactly heal, they regenerated—our own version of the salamanders growing a new leg. And for that, they needed the proper building materials. There had been a squabble in the hospital when he declined the metal screws and asked the bones to just be repositioned.
