I watched in horror as the Scorpion stung her savagely, two or three times in tandem and drawing blood. I felt the knot in my throat deepen as I struggled to swallow my panic. Before I'd even realized, my feet sprung into action, propelling my body forward. I quickly gripped the little horror by its tail, plucking it from Leah's breast and placing it back into the jar.
