I stopped momentarily, trying to process Jess' words. Slowly all the puzzle pieces began to fit together as my brain started firing in overtime. I began to recall various things over the years that I didn't think all too suspicious at the time, such as the various books that her mother kept, hiding them away whenever I would visit, or the family ring that Jess would never take off, which was in the shape of a pentagram. There were even times where both Jess and Leah would sometimes go into little trances, where their eyes would glaze over for a few seconds.
