“What do you mean, let’s get in?” Astor asked as I dangled my legs over the side of the boat, splashing the water with my feet.
“Let’s swim with the dolphins.” I had a feeling he’d jump in if I did. But before I could jump off, he had me in his arms. “Astor!”
“You’re not jumping in.” He carried me to a seat, sitting me down. “Are you crazy?”
“They won’t hurt anyone.” I looked over the side at the six dolphins who’d come to the boat, just as curious about us as we were them. “I’ve swam with dolphins before in Florida. It’s fun.”
“Well, you’re not going to do that in front of me.” He took a seat next to me. “What if one of them bites you?” He leaned over and nibbled my neck. “You are rather tasty, you know.”
