Nova had left me feeling a little shell-shocked. She had a secret that she had thought to keep from me forever. I had to admit that I had not seen that coming.
I put the rings back into my pocket as I left her office. She’d told me to meet her at her bungalow in thirty minutes, but I had no idea which one was hers.
I walked down the hall until I found someone in an office. Camilla smiled at me as I stepped inside. “Hi, Astor. What a surprise to see you here. But a good one.” She got up and hugged me. “Are you here looking for Nova?”
