ADINNA’S POV The cafeteria is loud and alive with the sound of trays clattering, voices overlapping, and the smell of food mixing with chatter, but somehow, it all fades into background noise. Because my entire world just narrowed to one corner of the room. Jace’s corner. At first, I honestly think my brain is glitching. Maybe the lighting’s off, or I’m seeing wrong.
