Emily smiles and hugs her grandmother.

Deep beneath an abandoned government research station, Victoria inserts the Phoenix key into a steel door.
A scanner lights up.
Computer Voice: Identity confirmed. Agent Victoria Carter.
The massive vault door slowly opens.
Inside are shelves of classified files and a small locked case.
Victoria opens it.
Inside is a handwritten letter addressed to Rose.
Rose: A letter... from Dad?
Victoria nods.

Rose unfolds the letter and begins reading aloud.
Rose: "My dearest Rose... if you're reading this, it means the truth has finally caught up with us. Your mother was never the villain. She was the only reason you survived..."
Tears fill Rose's eyes.
Rose: "...She gave up her family to protect you. If anyone deserves your forgiveness... it's her."
Rose lowers the letter and slowly looks at Victoria.
Without saying a word, she walks over and embraces her mother.
Victoria hugs her tightly, tears running down both their faces.
But hidden in the shadows outside the vault, a tiny surveillance drone records everything.
Back at Kane's headquarters, a screen lights up.
Kane: Excellent.
Now... we know exactly where they are.
