Cane’s POV
The night seemed overly too long. I watched her lay next to me. She wouldn’t talk to me and I didn’t yet know why. Groaning slowly, I moved away a bit from her side, getting close to the edge of the bed.
She had barely allowed me to speak to her yesterday. For the past few days, we had been sleeping apart.
“Zera?!” I called her and she didn’t reply. I tried to touch her but I stopped as I looked down at her body.
“Beautiful!” I growled and watched her move a bit. Her back faced me.
Grunting inwardly, I sighed and stood from the bed.
“I better take a shower!” I whispered and moved into the bathroom.
My eyes glanced at the clock and I saw it was a few minutes to 4:30 am. I assumed Flair would be awake now.
“I need to watch those reports sent,” I growled as I turned on the
