Karla’s POV My back ached from all the struggle I put up yesterday. My head even still aches from screaming at the guards and at my mother. “I shouldn’t have tried to escape,” I spoke to myself and stood to head to the bathroom. I was still acting asleep when mother came early in the morning to check up on me. I bet she still thought I was fast asleep. “Ahh!” I cried holding my head in my hands as my head banged and threatened to fall off.
