Karla’s POV
“Hello Karla!” His voice seemed too bold and even coarse.
“I am going to your father now!” He said softly but I didn’t care. I hated fathers and his face made me even more scared.
“Hello sir!” I responded coldly, turning to look at my mother who stood beside me watching and smiling foolishly.
“Stop it Karla! That was rude. Now greet him properly!” Mother cursed at me, hitting me on the back.
“Hello father! Thank you for accepting me to be your daughter!” I said instead and noticed his grin increased.
“It’s alright. I love you as much as I love your mother.” He replied and took my hand.
We were by the gates and heading into the huge palace when I noticed a girl almost my size standing by the entrance of the door with this huge guard standing by her side.
