Theodore Blake took out the trash. He walked down the driveway of his single-family home. He’d moved to Naples, Florida after retiring from Southeastern University Law School, where he spent forty-nine years. Naples was quieter than Miami. Theodore lived alone, as his wife died three years earlier. He did not have any children which, at times, made him feel very lonely but he stayed busy volunteering in the community and playing golf.
