Steve traveled to New Jersey for a law conference. He was supposed to present a working paper that one of his students wrote for him. In typical Steve fashion, he did not thank his co-author. In fact, Steve removed her name from the draft of the paper and presented the work as his own, giving no acknowledgement to anyone.
The conference was held at the College of Central New Jersey, an elite university located in central New Jersey. Steve arrived on Wednesday night and was supposed to present Thursday and Friday. This afforded him the opportunity to explore this beautiful Garden State city. But the conference was not the primary reason for his visit. The academic conference gave Steve the opportunity to seek revenge against Frank Stanford, a leading expert on the economics of crime.
