Justin POV I didn't want her to say no even as I saw her contemplating. The story about the falls always seemed stupid. A she-wolf cries over her mate after meeting him for ten minutes. It appeared so ridiculous, and I would roll my eyes whenever my mother told the younger she-wolves the tale. Looking at Anna now, her eyes wide, heart-shaped face, and pouted lips, I wanted to believe that story. I wanted my magical, happy ending, too. It still confused me why she was so hesitant to accept our bond. I could only think of how her last relationship ended. I wanted to beat up the guy who made her this way. No woman should be beaten just for messing up dinner. I don't know what else the bastard put her through, but I was ready to start trouble with the Shadow Pack over it. It didn't matte
