Paris Saved.. Or not.

I could feel Chat Noirs' eyes burning through me like a blazing fire with paper. His face smirked at me as I faced him but I can't help but feel like jelly. My legs quiver under me from his piercing green eyes. Of course, my clumsy self fell face-first toward the gravel after locking eyes with him. He caught me in his arms... damn hormones I hate how they test my body. My feet collect under me. "Thanks." I mumble. "Your welcome, m' lady." Something off with his tone. He sounded more... happy.  I clear my throat and broke down a simple plan.  "The person is clearly inside the machine." I explain. "I saw a glass outlook on the head." Chat Noir pointed out. I nod. "We just need to find the opening spot. I say you distract since you're good at that," I giggle. "And I'll find my way in." Chat Noir nodded in approval of the well-made plan. We separated ways. I waited until he distracted the villain with his odd charms. I inspect the machine. My soft movements made no noise. I crawl over the machine like a spider.  A noticeable latch on the back of the head. Opening it I crawled in. Suddenly, it locked behind me. Panic rushed over my body.  I wandered through the machine before being knocked down by a sudden body pulling mine aside. I was met face-to-face with... Hawk-Moth? Fear paralyzed me as he held a threating knife to my throat. I felt it slice through the magical suits. How...? Was all my mind processed. A terrified whimper escaped my mouth. "Give me your-" A tall, beautiful woman stopped his words placing a gentle hand on his shoulder. She had a peacock build. They matched their evil costumes and the way the woman's makeup almost completed his mask. "We can use her to lure the cat." She suggested. The man nodded in agreement. A sudden whiff of something causes my eyes to shut. I awoke to the gasp of Chat as I was levitated over the ground by a metal hand. My hands tied behind my back.  "Give me your miraculous and the girl is saved." The booming voice demanded. I was lifted to deadly heights. The fingers that secured my body in the air slowly started to loosen. Chat was about to run but I screech. "Chat! Don't!" I whine out to him. I can see him tempted to come to save me. "The world is at stake and I'm sure my life will cost less than theirs," I explain. "Ladybug! No!" He noticed as I tried to struggle out of the grasp. Suddenly, the hand released me and my body tumbled to the ground.. slowly. An odd, peaceful sensation filling me. I close my eyes as I brace for impact but instead, I was caught. Under a limp, dark body my eyes opened. I notice Chat had used his body for a cushion for me. His blood scattering over the road mixed with mine. He was moving, removing the ropes that forced my hands from holding him close. I wrap my free hands around his body, pulling it to my lap. I whimper as tears slowly crept down my cheeks. My lip was bleeding along with my broken nose. The hand came down to pick us up into its harmful grasp. I held Chat close to my body before swinging off. I make sure to take the long road, checking in each direction as I pass by each alleyway to make my way to Master Fu. I burst through the door and place Chat down. "He's injured! Please help him!" I beg. Fu looked over his injuries along with mine. "Process will be long. You must keep danger from here." He instructed. I just nod, about to sprint out from the door when he stopped me. "Be careful, Marinette." I nod. Little did we know, Chat was awake and heard each word that we muttered. Later did I know, his correct suspicion that I was Ladybug was proven correct.
