By the time he was bundled up in the back of Angel's Rangey, glaring out the window, mood refusing to lift even when Lucien jumped in the back with him and held his hand. The daylight had plummeted into a crisp darkness that blotted out every single star that tried to break through the thick fog that cloaked the upper atmosphere, and there wasn't much to see out the window.
The restaurant was one he was unfamiliar with. The name, Lotus Lagoon, didn't ring a bell, and nor did the street in which it sat. Parking up in the narrow allotment, Angel spun in his seat. "Puppy, I don't have to give you a run down on what I expect from you, do I?"
