At least, it had started that way. First few months maybe. But after that, they'd somehow ended up falling into a concerning pattern of limiting themselves to one another's bed. And it was at that point Ronan had known he needed an out. He was looking for more, and the whole thing would have just broken his heart when he realised that he was seeing more than was there. That just because Raven had stopped sleeping with other people, didn't mean he wanted a relationship or anything more than their convenient shags.
