Chapter 6 - She Was Unwelcomed

What situation is this?
YouYou was bewildered and have no idea what is happening. Shrieks from fans of some celebrity whose name was announced drifted occasionally from some distance away.
Why would there be celebrity here at the mansion parading on the red carpet?
YouYou pushed her way through the crowd as best as she could and walked as quickly as she could towards the mansion main doors, amidst incredulous stares from the crowd.
A celebrity who was getting all the attention of photographers saw her passing by, having mistaken her for being a servant of the mansion called out to her, "Hey you, come over here and help me with my gown trail!"
YouYou turned and looked at the celebrity who called out and replied, "Are you talking to me?"
"Yeah, who else could I be talking to, quickly get over here and help me!" that celebrity replied impatiently and as if YouYou should have been honoured to be asked to help her with her gown trail.
"Sorry, I'm not free!" YouYou replied coldly and continued to walk away.
That celebrity who have never been so coldly rejected before, was flushing with anger while she stared with hatred at YouYou's retreating back, and immediately some paparazzi took pictures of the rejection scene unfolding in front of them.
YouYou was dressed very casually, compared to the droves of perfumed ladies finely dressed in their beautiful gowns, she stuck out like a sore thumb. Even the servants hired by the mansion today wore significantly better than her. Since entering the mansion grounds, YouYou have been treated like a servant and been called on several times. She didn't care at all, the only reason why she was back here today was for her mother's belongings, otherwise she didn't even want to be here at all. Ever since her father drove out of the house so many years ago, she no longer thought of the mansion as her home. YouYou is determined to retrieve her mother's belongings and she will be gone forever.
YouYou glanced into the great hall a few times and finally found her stepmother and stepsister. They are now shining stars of the high society, belonging to the wealthy echelons of society. Ever since XueRou entered showbiz, it's as if a huge door opened for them. From a nobody calefare, she speedily climbed the showbiz world and within the span of four years, she have attained the rank of showbiz queen and have been unbeatable until today.
XiuJuan Meng, is fully decked out in full luxury, with a glass of red wine in her hand, she was receiving blessings from and greeting her guests. XueRou on the other hand was surrounded by a group of younger people, all highly reputable, they are either famous women of the century or some famous celebrity, all of them were congratulating and complimenting XueRou respectfully, with a tinge of curry-favouring in action.
XueRou do not have much abilities of her own, however she has one trump card in the form of a powerful and wealthy man she relied on to build her reputation every step of the way, to the jealousy of many around her. Being favoured and complimented by people around her feels like being in heaven, at that, XueRou was all smiles and looking angelic.
However as jubilant as she felt, she froze in place immediately. She could not believe her eyes when she saw YouYou walking towards her through the crowd of distinguished guests.
Why is she back? And right on this day?! Thought XueRou and she was not pleased at all to be seeing YouYou. She never wanted to even see her face for the rest of her life if possible.
YouYou picked up her pace as she moved through the crowd and stood in front of XueRou, she firmly asked, "Where's my mother's belongings?"
XueRou did not immediately reply her, she smiled at the people surrounding her, and said, "Please proceed with the program we have arranged, I have some family matters to deal with, I will be back later."
"Who said you can come back?" XueRou turned back to YouYou and glared at her after her guests have left them, as if her very presence insulted her every being.
"I've graduated, of course I must return." YouYou replied matter-of-factly.
XueRou was furious and said, "You want your mother's belongings? Then let's talk first!"
