Strength to try

This man, what's his name 'Calvin' fetched me from the hospital. I don't even know where he is taking me but he asked me to trust him. I'm sitting in the front, clutching my diary on my chest and looking out the window. He's been driving for a few minutes now. "Here, come let's go." He parks the car and gets out coming to my side to open the door. "This is the mall," he sighed and held out his hand. "You need to eat, come let's go. The doctor said you shouldn't strain yourself for the next few days as you settle in." I give him my hand and he walks with me into the mall. We head into a restaurant, the smell it's Italian. A waiter rushes to the door when he sees us entering. "Mr Otto Sir, Table for two?" he shakes his head and dismisses the waiter. Not much of talker this one. He headed to the manager and ordered two large Pizza's a family meal Pasta and meatballs in Sauce and garlic bread. To my surprise they gave him the dish they serve the meal in, the pizza and bread were in boxes. "What did you need me for?" I ask as we walk out the mall. "To object if you don't like what I'm getting." I giggled. "I can object now," he turns to face me, I'm now feeling intimidated by his strong look, his smile. "That would be petty now wouldn't it?" he's leaning closer to me. My breath hitches before I can answer and I find myself clutching at my diary again. "Breath Anya..." He says my name and all of a sudden I don't remember when I told him it was Anya. He turns back around and starts the car. I put on the seat belt and face forward. The silence is creating quite the awkward atmosphere so I ask if he can put on some music. Pop music isn't my taste so I change it to classical jazz. After the a while he peeks up at me. "Quite the eclectic taste." I nod and smile. We arrive at his house and it is not as big as I had expected. He looks moneid. Infact he looks like the king himself, how is he not living in a huge ass mansion. He parks the car and stops me before I can even unbuckle my belt. "I don't know If you're ready for people but my parents are in there." I look up at him hastily. "Ohh I don't want to intrude or disr..." He shakes his head and holds my hand tight in his. "No, no, no don't worry about them. They know you'll be staying here for as long as you need. I just want you comfortable." I feel myself calm down before I even say it. I don't know what's happening but I hope this isn't a dream I have to wake up from. He comes to the side of the car and opens the door for me then proceeds to empty the car. As I walk in the house I get a beautiful homely feel to it. The stone tiles are beautiful, the beige walls and dark brown curtains. The sofas are as inviting as the fireplace and there's a book case next to it. 'I think I'm definitely dreaming, someone pinch me.' "Haha you're not dreaming so no pinching today." I gasped and covered my mouth with my hand. "I said that out loud?" he nodded heading into what seems to be the kitchen. I followed behind him, the modern touches to the home brought light into the house. His kitchen, was even more immaculate, the dark wood against the white granite tops. He put the food and walked in my direction. "Come let me show you where you'll be sleeping." He held my hand and led my up the stairs. We turned left into the hallway and then right into a room full of blues and Grey. "Every room is an adventure in this house." He chuckled. "You don't like it." I laughed sofly, how can a complete stranger care so much about my feelings? "No, I love it actually. It's calming and comforting." the room had dark wooden floors and Grey fur carpet. A love seat by the window with a view of the neighborhood. The bed was a queen size certainly built for comfort because sitting on it alone made me feel so sleepy. I yawned "Tired huh?" he said as I got up the bed. I nodded but went on to view the rest of the room. I had a bathroom with a shower and an open window view that had a bath placed at the centre of the bathroom. "I know you need clothes and bathing essentials. We can go get all of that tomorrow." I sighed, I don't want to burden this man. I'd rather go look for a job somewhere. I have a diploma in administration and technology. Plus sitting at home all the time would drive me crazy. "That's sweet, but I'd like to work for everything and buy my own things. I have a little money saved up." just before he could speak, the sound of heels announce someone at the door. "Ohh my darling don't worry about it," I was stunned, who is this beautiful woman? "Mom, we were gonna come downstairs you know." She laughed and gave him a kiss on the cheek. "I know son but me and your father are going out tonight and think you both need a little time to speak." it was beautiful to watch him speak so sweetly with his mother. "Oop's how rude of me. I am Eleanor, his mother." she said pinching his cheek. He turned away, his cheeks red from blushing. I giggled, this is the first time I see him so uncomfortable. "I'm Anya" I held my hand out to shake hers. She turned around and waved goodbye, leaving me with Calvin in the room. "Come on let's go eat, I don't want her to say I'm starving you." I smiled. The worries and the doubts I was beginning to have were slowly creeping back into the dark. We went downstairs and dished up for ourselves. I took two slices of pizza and he gave me a lemonade from to drink. We then went to another part of the house, where instead of a fire place there was a huge flat screen TV. "Your house is beautiful." He smiled "Thank you, Anya is it okay if I can ask some questions?" the pizza was starting to taste a little dry in my mouth but I nodded in agreement. He put down his plate of spaghetti and balls and turned to face me. "What happened to you?" the tears began to well in my eyes. I put down my food and began to explain. "I've severed all ties with my pack. Just as I was leaving, walking on the train tracks I was attacked." I sobbed louder... My voice trembling as I remembered the events of that night. "Why did you leave?" I cried silently, heaving and shaking my head. He moved closer to me and held my hands. "Okay, it's Okay." He sighed and rubbed my hands. "Where are your parents?"the question I've dreaded. "They passed long ago in a car accident, I was the only survivor." his eyes seemed to change with what I said. He had his face in the palm of his hands. "Listen to me, you can stay here for as long as you want.. This is now your home." I sobbed and grabbed a tissue he gave me to wipe my tears. How embarrassing and weak of me, no wonder my mates rejected me. We sat and watched a movie, I ended up falling asleep on the Sofa. I woke up and had me in his arms, my face against his neck. His honey aroma filled my nostrils, intoxicating with every sniff. "Heyyy..." He said in soft tone. "I was just taking you to bed," he smiled as I looked up. My goodness this man is strong and fine. But I'll get disappointed again, so let me keep my distance. He entered the room and laid me on the bed. "Thank you," he turned on the lights and shut the windows. It seemed like it was going to be a cold night. "I forgot you don't have nightwear. Is it okay if I give you a shirt?" I nodded and opened the blankets up so I can get inside. He went and came back with a black T-shirt. "if you need anything just come knock on my door. It's the one next to yours." I nodded and he walked closer to me. My heart started racing. I took a step back "Thank you and sleep well." I heard him exhale, under the dim lights of the room. He said goodnight and left me there, my heart seemed to have eased. For the first time that day, I was able to think of the events of that night. My heart began to race and my vision began to fade, my knees began to weaken so I sat down on the bed. I took a few deep breathes and began to undress. I put on the shirt he gave me and sat in bed staring at the ceiling. "I should have grabbed a book downstairs," I say to myself. I open the drawer next to my bed and pull out my diary. I open it and pull out my mother's necklace with our pictures in it. "My plans went side ways mom, I guess I won't be seeing you soon." I sighed deeply. "I'm afraid mom. Fate has granted me another, but I'm so afraid. So I don't want to focus on this for now. I just want to get back on my feet and maybe eventually get my own place in a week." I sighed heavily. Loneliness looming in the air, I'm glad I'm in a place no one knows me. Here no one will judge me, here no one will care about my Omega rank. I placed my diary with necklace on the cabinet. I tried to sleep but tossed and turned for quite some time, till sleep finally caught up to me. My dreams drifted to a place I don't like. It smells of rain and my clothes are wet. I'm screaming, fighting off the Rouge wolves attacking me. One lunges toward my face and I fall flat on the train. Another grabs me by the leg and drags me before I kick it off. My wolf would be so helpful right now. I stand up and try to jump off but one grabs me by foot and hit the train, blacking out. "Noo!!! Noo!!..."
