It had been a few moments before Alice had come back to her sense, of course she'd expected at some point that Lionel would send someone to finish her.
Alice took her cane and poked and the sleeping wolf, this clearly was a big wolf, bigger than an alpha. Why would Lionel send one of his own family to finish her off? Do they hate her that much?
How bothersome, Alice got up and went over to the wolf, she assumed she'd have to kill it before it killed her so she went to the kitchen and grabbed a cleaver.
