Libbys POV

After the luna showed up unexpectedly, everyone was on pins and needles. One rumour said she didnt remember her kids, another said she couldnt remember anything at all, not even her name, another said she was a plant of the sorcerers to infiltrate our pack and take over from within. Bullshit, I thought about the last one. Being a ranked member meant I met the Luna and knew what was going on.

I caught a pair of omegas gossiping in the laundry instead of ironing the tablecloth and napkins for the dining room. "Back to work," I snapped, eyes blazing as they started back to their jobs. "Gossiping can be done while you iron, girls." I told them much more kindly and they nodded. "Yes, Gamma." they agreed, going back to work while they gossiped.

I put my underwear in for a gentle cycle and laughed as they kept talking about their Luna's return. I shook my head and left them in charge of what little clothes I had and made my way upstairs to the kitchen.

Even here, the Luna's return was a hot topic as I went about making her a breakfast as well as lunch for the men. I packed all my hard work into a picnic basket and headed to the hospital wing and knocked on the Luna's door.

The alpha answered and I held up the basket and smiled. He nodded, letting me in and I began to lay out food. "Luna, I am the new gamma female Elizabeth or Libby if you please. I brought you, your husband, pups and the betas lunch." I laid her Tupperware container in front of her with a fork. "Cheese omelet, sausage, bacon and toast for you." I pulled out the sandwiches and chips for everyone else and smiled. "I will take my mate upstairs for lunch where his sandwiches are on the island waiting for him."

I took his hand, bowed to the alpha and Luna before we left and he smiled. "Look at you, taking charge to help the Luna and Beta already..." he cooed to me as he wrapped his arm around my shoulders and kissed the side of my head.

I didnt know what he meant and tilted my head up at him. "All I did was make sure everyone was fed... I just thought the Luna would prefer a nice warm breakfast instead of hospital frozen and microwaved meals."

"Exactly," was his response. "You took time out of your day to make sure that the Luna and Alpha were fed and even the Beta couple. I am proud, my sweet mate." He kissed me on the temple again and grinned at me.

I still didnt really understand what I did as some gamma duty, I just thought I was being nice... and I wanted s*x with my mate. When I explained myself to him, he laughed out loud and held me tight as we walked into the kitchen, sitting at the island, we got to eat our roast beef sandwiches with fresh made chips from the omegas.

Lunch went well and Daniel finally heard all the rumours going around and was laughing about the sorcerer one while we drank our water. "Now... we can get to why you really fed everyone..." he stated, grabbed my wrist and slung me over his shoulder and raced up to our room with me both embarrassed and excited at the same time.

"We're going to end up pregnant if we keep on like this... you know the shot only works on about 60% of female wolves and I dont even... eee!" I squeaked as he threw me on the bed, pouncing me like a cat on a mouse.

I shoved him away when he started to rip off my dress. "Uh-uh, mister, you are not ripping my favorite dress, gap doesn't have this anymore and I'm not going to sew it all night and mess it up!" I shouted, backing away around the bed as I hurry to take the pink knee length sun dress off.

I stood there, naked except for my strapless bra and matching pink lace thong. When he saw me, his pupils dilated to turn his eyes to dark pools of beautiful black before he stalked towards me like... well, like a wolf.

I squeaked and ran, he catches me around the waist and bites my trapezius muscle on my right side. I moaned and went limp against him, melting into him as I breathe his scent that is surrounding us with his aura.
