The gruff voice made her flinch as she stumbled a few steps back.
"Go...good morning! " she murmured under her breath before making a run for the stairs.
"So, how was dinner?" Her path was blocked. His flexing biceps suddenly making an appearance in front of her eyes.

"It was fine! But why are you still here? " She looked anywhere but at his face.
"Why? What did you think? I would give up on you, just like that? " she felt his rough finger grasping her chin and pulling her up until she had nowhere to look but at him.
