Not Alone

¨Scolding myself to watch the weather better, the humans are going to start getting suspicious, with the freak earthquake, hail, snow and sleet. It is fall and there could be these things, but I need to be more careful. Since living here not ever causing this many radical changes it the weather. Walking now amongst the shadows along an alley, the snow that I had made come was now about six inches deep. Sighing to myself making it rain. A heavy stream of rain to wash away the snow and to remove my foot prints from the snow. Keeping from being seen is easy, but the tracks I cannot hide. The rain will get rid of all the snow and my scent in case Christopher sent someone to follow me. The rain came down and the snow started to melt away. Sensing that the sun was coming, hurrying to the graveyard where I sleep for the day, taking to the trees hiding any footprints that might be left behind by my feet. Sitting in one of the trees looking out over the town. For now everyone was asleep snuggled in their cozy beds not knowing anything that happened last night. Smiling jumping to another tree. The graveyard was now just to my right and staying to the trees to remain unseen by a possible person that is getting up and ready for work. Watching as the snow was disappearing rapidly, sliding down the tree in the graveyard. Standing up staring at the moon as it was heading for it's slumber making out the changing colors of the sun coming up. The orange, reds, yellows and some purple was coming up over the horizon, it was beautiful. It has been so long since having seen the sun, but still remembering what it looks like hanging in the sky of blue with white clouds moving carelessly through the sky. Bright burning ball of fire that hangs to guard the day. The orange color that shines so clear through the day the warmth that radiates off it to warm your skin. Turning in my sunlight long ago, sighing at the very thought of it. Raising my eye brow turning to see if anyone had followed me to my resting place from the sun. Looking over the graveyard seeing the grave stones coming from the ground and the rod iron fence standing around the small cemetery, with my tree sitting next to the gate that leads into the cemetery, nothing was amiss. Turning to the mortuary that stood in the middle of the cemetery, made of sea rock it was a gray and black rock. They had got the rock from Minnesota's sea. That is what they call it anyway really it is just a lake that is black from all the black rock that lay on the shore and beneath the lake. It is beautiful, curiously went there after seeing my home of the mortuary. Walking toward the beach the shore was made up of nothing but, this magnificent black rock, the moon was hanging full in the sky that shone and lit the black water. The wind had just a slight breeze coming from the lake as walking to the shore. Driftwood was laying on the beach and seaweed was laying throughout the beach. It was beautiful. The country there was just as beautiful with the forest that surrounded the city of Duluth, almost staying and never coming back here to California, but California has such a bigger selection than that small town it was easier to hid the disappearances of people in a big city. Breathing in a deep breath of air opening the gate to my home the musky smell rolled out of the door. Smiling stepping through the entrance. Closing the door behind me walking to the middle were old man McClure laid. Not thinking that he was of much importance back then, he just had money to place himself here. Pushing the raised cement coffin out of the way the hole in the floor shone, with steps leading down under the coffin. Stepping down to the steps below, moving the coffin back over my entrance moving down the cold, dark and musky hallway. Growling came from the other side of the tunnel I had made from my living area. A low hiss came out of my throat as continuing to walk to my area. When seeing the light greenish yellow eyes looking up at me. "Hey Memphis, how is mommy's baby?" Leaning over to pet my American Bull Terrier as he jumped to lick me with his rough tongue I smiled. Memphis is my dog, he has been with me for over 200 years and is very loyal and protective dog. Everyone knows these type of dogs as Pit Bulls. He is called blue but to me he looks like a grayish blue, but whatever he hides well with me in the shadows. Following me back to the living area. The hallway that goes from under old man McClure's coffin is about 20ft with a door at the end made of heavy metal, opening the door to my room it opens up to have 8 foot ceilings. The room is a bomb shelter that I found over the years that someone made and either died or forgot to tell someone that it was here. It makes for a perfect sleeping area for me, light tight. It is just one room and it is only a 16 by 20 room with a bathroom off to the right. Which is more than enough for me. My desk sits on one corner of the room with a laptop on top of it and a leather chair resting behind. My chair is leather and sits in front of the desk to the other side of the room and in between the desk and chair is a big bookshelf with all my books and some records of my family tree that I have kept up with over the years. Then my bed sits next to the door of my room. My bed I loved it, it is a wooden old canopy bed. Hanging from the top is a burgundy red silk that hangs down each arm of the canopy that stretches over the top. My sheets are the same color, but not silk just regular cotton and down comforter. Sitting on the edge of the bed removing my black boots, standing removing my Black leather coat that hangs to the middle of my thighs tossing it on the chair, then removing my black leather pants and tossed them too on the chair. Leaving just my black tank top that I wear under my coat and panties, climbing into my big bed.Memphis jumped up and laid protectively on the side of me. Smiling laying my hand on him and closed my eyes to sleep. Christopher's face filled my eyes as I lay sleeping. He smiled gently at me as I moved toward him, raising his hands for mine to take. Crossing the distance he grabbed my hands and pulled me close to him and kissed me. His mouth was perfect with a sweet taste and he moved with perfect ease on my lips. Wrapping his arms around me pulling me closer and closer to him, running my hands up through his tousled brown hair and pulled him closer to my lips, he let out a slight growl as he hungrily pulled at my clothes to remove them. Breathing heavily pulling back to look in his eyes searching for anything that could make me stop, seeing nothing that could stop me. Then he growled more severely at me, stepping back from him he started to bark and growl at me. Looking at him like he lost his mind. Memphis jumped on me waking me up sending me straight up in the bed. "Memphis!" I hissed at my dog as he lay staring at me with his greenish yellow eyes that looked like they could hold your very soul in them. Then he licked me. "Okay, Okay I am up." Climbing out of my bed still feeling Christopher's kisses on my mouth and still could taste the sweetness of his mouth. Shaking my head dressing in my clothes that laid on my chair. Standing in the middle of my room wringing my hands together looking around still not able to shake my dream that I had of him. My throat burned, like fire as standing in the middle of my room trying to calm the sensations running through my body. I hadn't thought any about what he said last night after leaving his mansion, being too conflicted and wanted the weather to be normal so I concentrated on the other things, like the people in their homes sleeping and the sun. Having not thought of the sun in decades, but last night almost feeling it's warmth upon my skin. Memphis barked at me, he was hungry and ready to go and hunt. "Okay boy let's go." Opening the door he ran up the long hallway ahead of me. Shutting the door behind me, taking off running after him. Reaching underneath the old mans grave pushing the grave to the side and in one jump Memphis cleared the grave standing in the mortuary. Climbing the steps to the top, pushing the grave back to rest on top of my hole.
