Dylan's POV
I get into my house after unpacking everything as best as I can without leaving her alone for too long.. I don't want her to feel lonely especially at this point where it's really easy to feel alone.
Natalie is sitting on my couch leaning forward with her head in her hands crying. Duke is sitting underneath Natalie's legs as if he is there to protect her and I know she appriciates it and you can tell he loves her for sure it's sweet.
I slowly walk across the room and sitting down at the couch right besides Natalie rubbing her back gently while petting Duke's ears.. trying to make them both feel better in this hard time.
Natalie's looks up at me curiously. "Duke actually likes you?"She says this with a shocked tone.
