Jay smiled, “I don’t mean to pry, but I am a detective after all. I know your brother, District Attorney Darius Hamilton. It dawned on me that you had similar last names and then the hazel-colored eyes sealed it for me as many times as I played basketball with him… although you’re much more attractive…” He laughed.
I hesitated, taking a deep breath before saying, “You are very astute. You’re right Darius is my older brother. And I’m sure you’ve met my father also.”
Jay nodded his head, “I’m not as familiar with your father. I’ve seen him here and there. There was a case I had to testify on that he was the presiding judge I think about four years ago now. I am more acquainted with your brother. Darius live in the same apartment complex as me and—-“
