I sighed, “Big trouble? I know that myself. You don’t have to remind me.”
“I should remind you,” Lena replied calmly. “You have made several daring decisions lately. Those rash decisions, didn’t you make them because you had no guidance?”
“You know I can’t take them back…” I pointed out. “Let’s focus on the future. You can help me with that.”
“I refuse to help with that as well unless you do the right thing,” Lena told me firmly.
“What is the right thing?” I asked curiously.
“Firstly, I must meet with this husband of yours,” she answered. “I don’t care if he is real or fake, as long as he calls himself your husband, I must see him as soon as possible.”
I sighed, “I will try.”
“You must,” she replied firmly. “How about this weekend? I do not have any surgeries lined up.”
