Chapter Seven

Waking up to my alarm going off. I see it says 9am. I feel so confused right about now. I get up and jump in the shower. I need a quick rinse to wash all this sleepiness off me. While brushing my teeth in the bath I get a mind link.

Hello dear, are you up now? Yes mom I am sorry I fell asleep like that. I don’t know what came over me to be honest. I’m already getting ready to come down though. So I should be down in a couple of minutes. It’s ok my dear. Remember you are in the mists of transitioning. You should be getting all the rest you should get.

Don’t worry about it, just take your time to come down. Today the rest of your guests should be coming in. So you will need some type of energy. So no rushing or stressing, just relaxing. If you need a break just let me know okay.

No problem mom, I'll see you soon. Looking through my closet for something to wear. I know tomorrow I’ll be wearing all these crazy clothes. So I don’t want to over do it today. Can’t act all rich and stuck up even though I am.

I try not to show off how much money I have truly. Dad always says to be humble and I always have been. Sometimes though I want to show off. Be the someone that everyone says I am. But at last I'm not that person.

I put on a simple outfit. Sweats and a shirt. Throwing on my shoes I head downstairs. I head straight for the kitchen. I'm starving right now. I still can’t believe that I slept the whole day and night. I’m truly amazed at myself.

Grabbing a cup of orange juice I sit at the table. I put together my sandwich and then head back to my room. I know I’m supposed to be greeting people today. Today thoughI just feel blah!

Sitting on my balcony I see some cars in the distance. Great now to see a whole bunch of people I don’t know. Or at least don’t remember.

I see some cars approaching the pack house. They must be expected guests. That’s the only way they would be allowed in. I know what this means though. It’s time to put on my game face. Be the future alpha that I’m meant to be. I put on my best smile and start to walk downstairs.

When I get downstairs I see my mom and dad. My uncle and aunt as well. We all start to walk outside. To greet the guests that are making their way to us.

For some reason Brandon stare is really giving me the heebeegeebees. I ignore it and keep walking by. For some reason all I want to do is crawl back into my bed. I just don’t think that today is the day to be doing this.

I look at the black and orange lined Lamborghini Aventador. With two big black SUV’s right behind it. Time to put on my game face. Be nice to everyone cause that’s how I was taught.

The cars finally stop and we are all in front already. I see the doors open and a foot lands on the floor. Coming out of the car is a tall man. Built very nicely muscles not too big and not too small. Long blond hair down to the mid section of his back. Beautiful green eyes.

Aww man this man looks like a whole snack and then some. Seeing a female come out of the passenger side. She looks like she’s about 5’4 manybe. Long black hair with the same green eyes. Nice rack and all she’s gorgeous.

The black svu let’s out an older couple. They kind of look like they are all related. The older man walks straight to my dad. With the other three walking right behind him. Someone gets in the first car and drives off with it. With the others following it.

Steven, my good friend, it's been quite some time. I'm glad we finally get to see one another. You look like you're getting fat. I turn to look at my dad's reaction. No worries there though cause he’s cracking up with mom. Eric, my good friend. It’s always a pleasure to see you. Likewise on the fatness. Stella is feeding you well I see. They all start laughing again. Mom hugging who I’m guessing is stella.

Steven, you remember my son Lenny. My daughter Sarah. Guys this is alpha Steven and his wife luna Vivian. They have known you since before you were born. Heck even thought of. Although I don’t see your daughter anywhere. Where is she?

My dad looks back at me and motions me to come forward. Oh my goddess, you have grown beautifully. The last time I saw you, you were so tiny. Wow, it has definitely been a long time.

Hi guys, nice to meet you. I say as I shake their hands. I can’t help it but I stare at Lenny. I don’t know why. There’s just something about him. I can’t help it. When I touch his hand it sends a shiver through my body. Not a bad one but a good one. Like my n*****s got really hard. My sweet pot got really wet as well. I couldn’t help myself at all. None the less I turned around and looked at my dad.

Eric you remember my brother in-law alpha Victor and his wife and kids. Luna Leslie, future alpha Bradon and his sister Kelly. They all shake hands and Eric answers. Of course I remember it’s been a long time. Im’m glad to see everyone is doing ok.

Yes, it is such a delight to see. Let’s all go to the house where the nice cool air is. I’m sure we all don’t want to look like we ran five miles. Good idea Steven I feel my shirt getting wet already.

That sounds really disgusting dad.Maybe you need more than cool air Sarah says. We all laugh as we walk to the living. Brandon walked right behind me for some reason. I walk towards my mom who holds her hand out for me like if I were a baby. Like I need help to walk or something. I gladly welcome it though. Since the creeper has been a big creep. Super weird if you ask me. I side hug my mom and we walk towards the seats in the living room. I see Shelia come out of the kitchen and sit at the bar. I let go of my mom and joined her.

So Athena are you excited about your party tomorrow? I couldn’t wait to turn 18 and find my mate. When I met Stella I didn’t know how to act either. As they say my tail was wagging a mile a minute. I was a real horn dog when I was young. Now I’m just an old horn dog. I couldn't help but burst into laughter. Honey, quit embarrassing me already before I put you in the dog house. Athena does not want to be traumatized with your stories. Give the girl a break would you.

Well I am excited about the party. The mate part not so much. I mean if I meet my mate I wouldn’t mind. But I’m not dying here either, you know. I understand that. I was the same way. Matter of fact when I met Eric here I wasn’t interested at first. He had to work hard for it.

Till this day I still make him work hard for it. That’s the best part of it all. No matter how old we get. He still loves to work hard for it. It’s a special thing to have you know.

That’s sweet actually. I see that all the time with mom and dad as well.My dad always looks like a sick puppy and now I know why. We all burst into laughter. My dad holds both his hands up like if a cop told him to freeze. I laugh even harder. This is a super nice moment. So good that I forgot my uncle and his family were here for a moment.

Sorry for breaking up this funny moment here. We have more guests to greet it would seem. Ladies if you will do me the honor. My dad says and he holds both arms out. One for my mom and one for me.

Go ahead, you fat lump. We’ll be waiting here for you when you get back. My dad shoots Eric a glare that says don’t mess with me. Then both of them burst into laughter. As me and my mom and dad walk away. I hear Eric asking my uncle how life has been treating him?

Dad, I thought the rest were coming more later. Why are more people arriving now? I gave them permission to come at any time in the day. Or by the latest six in the evening. Giving everyone a good amount of time to get here. They don’t have to rush or anything. Now the person that is here right now. Is someone very special to me and your mom. He’s been a dear friend for that long.

He was even in your mom's old pack. Since then he has become a rogue wolf. Not a bad one, just one. He helped out me and your mom when we were in big trouble once upon a time. He saved us and many more wolves like us. So you make sure you show him respect okay. Always and I mean always trust him no matter what. Even if you think he is crazy you trust his words. Trust that he will always keep you safe sweetie. Cause he will always trust me.

We get to the front of the pack house. I see a tall man standing there on the phone. He looks up and puts his phone away. I look at this man and I can’t believe it. He looks just like auntie Jade. Just without the boobs.

We finally reach the man and my dad automatically hugs him. Jon, it's been too long my friend. I’m so glad you can make it. Thank you for always keeping us safe. It’s always a pleasure and an honor my friend.

He looks at my mom who hugs him aw well. Jon, thank you. I know that you don’t like to hear it,but it must be said. You made my family possible, and keep doing so. There’s no way to repay you for this. Just with my gratitude. So I do give it and show it when it needs to be given.

Jon come meet my daughter Athena. She’s not the same little baby you once saw. Now almost a fully grown woman. Can you believe such a thing?

Yes dad we are clear. Now that we got that all out the way Im’m going to disappear for a little while. Just like that Jon turned around and started to walk towards the woods.

I stood there looking at my dad waiting for him to explain. He just gave me a look and said. Don’t worry sweetie, you will know everything when the time is right. Right when he says that we see two more black suv’s coming our way. Looks like more guests have arrived. You ready warrior princess. It’s time to put your game face on.
