Joy pov
The fifth time that we passed by the same fallen log. I decided to stop because I didn't know where we were. Levonna walked ahead and stopped to look at the trees. I should have listened to William. He told me to keep going right. I just thought it was a trap, so instead of listening, I went another way and ended up getting lost. I thought of something. I grabbed a long stick, and then you started writing on the ground.
"I am free, but I'm lost and don't know we're I am." I closed my eyes and thought of my mother. Maybe she will see this like last time, and she will send me something back, I didn't get my hopes up. When I opened my eyes, I saw Levonna go down on her knees. I hurried over to her to make sure she was alright.
"Levonna, are you alright? What happened?" Shaking her head, she sat like that for a few minutes, then got up on her feet.
"It was you that sent that message. The trapped in the cage message. I saw it all. I even saw this one. Who were you sending the message to? Why did I see it? Why did it affect me like that?"
"I don't know Levonna. This is a strange world we live in. Maybe we will get answers once we are home. But I am certain that my mother will get the message. And hopes she will find us somehow.
Liv pov
We were in the meeting all with the huge long map, and Adonis was tagging every place we were to. So we wouldn't fly over freaking people out. We also have to make sure humans do not see us. Some humans know about us, but not many. We were all chatting about where to go next when I started feeling dizzy, Drago and Adonis hurried over to me to catch me before I fell,
"Did you see anything, mother? Did you see her?" I nodded, she wrote to me. She's free but she doesn't know we're she's at. She's with another female. I'm not sure if she's a dragon or female. But she's there with her. She needs our help, quick, hand me paper and a pen."
"But Liv, remember last time you did this."
"I don't care. It's our daughter out there, Adonis," he nodded, understanding what I fear the most. She's been gone from us for almost 12 years. I'm not losing her again. I placed the paper on the table.
When you get to another place. Tell me again. See if you can see anything with a pack border. A creek, a river, anything. I picked it up. I'm bringing it in my hand tightly. Then, closing my eyes, I thought about Joy, and then the paper was gone as I fell on the floor. This time, I blacked out. I could hear my son and Adonis crying out for me.
Erick pov
The morning came all too fast. Last night, I heard the boys leave the house. I knew where they were going. They were going to look for Levonna. For me, I stayed back only to be a nervous wreck because my first mate will be here soon enough. So I took a shower. Got dressed, then went to the office. I wanted to do some paperwork. And check some emails before she comes. I was a nervous wreck, so I needed to calm my nerves down before she got here. I was done with the paperwork in an hour. Did some calls. Then I started on the emails when I heard the knock on my office door, I knew that scent from anywhere it was Kelly, could it be that the moon goddess paired us again. I had to find out if it was true. I hurried to the door. I saw the tears in her eyes as I pulled her to me, holding her in my arms. When I looked into her eyes, I knew that she knew as well. My lips snatched into hers. Kissing her hard and passionately. She was the one who stopped the kiss.
"What about Jessica? She will pissed when she finds out that we are mates again." I softly chuckled at her. She was thinking of someone instead of herself. Kissing her forehead. We went to sit down so I could tell her everything that had been going on in the last few months, she gasped when I told her I killed her, all because she was planning on killing me and having her father take over the pack.
"Where is everyone at now, I thought the boys would be happy that I was here and want to see me."
"Long story short. Bama is really in love with Levonna, so he and his brothers are out there now looking for her. I'm not sure where they should start. I just hope she didn't run into the portal. Who knows where that would lead her into.
"Shouldn't we be out there with them looking for her. We are her family, Erick. I know I didn't like her. And for the life of me. I couldn't figure out why. But now that I think of it. I should have treated her like a daughter, I'm sorry for doing that. I hope they can forgive me,
