LEON'S POV
It had been days since I saw Cora last, I heard she was restricted from everywhere else apart from the kitchen. I sent messages to her through either my personal guard Orion or through Maia but none came back with a reply. Cora was intentionally avoiding me and I did not blame her, she had been through a lot these past few days and was only trying to protect her job.
I had done all my duties without much concentration, I was physically present but my mind and heart were else where. I missed Cora a lot and I wanted to see her, touch her and hold her in my arms. I wanted to tell her how much I loved her and wanted to be with her, but they will not be possible right now. The incident of the past few days was still fresh and I did not want to be the reason she was without a job.
