Regalia Magic Academy

After getting off the plane, we boarded a cab down to Regalis Academy. The driving wasn’t that pleasant; the empty road that leads to the school was filled with cracks, bumping over stones and debris. I sat close to Syra. She wasn’t that angry anymore and was on her phone throughout the trip. I guess she was calling some friends she made online who attended the same school. Syra is very social when it comes to making friends and easily gathers people around her. Unlike me—I really find it difficult to make friends. We stopped in front of the heavy structure that had "Regalis Academy" boldly written on some cracked wood. The sides of the big school from the outside were filled with heavy rocks. Immediately as the cab reached the gate, it opened on its own. We drove inside, and around us were plenty of students, all minding their own business. Some were laughing and walking, while others stood together in groups talking. The school environment is very big and filled with different buildings. Syra got down, carrying her box, and I followed her instantly. With the way she walks, it seems she knows the environment better than I do. "Heyyy!" A girl with pink hair greeted us, coming close and looking straight at Syra. "Hey, Clara?" Syra spoke, looking at her. She nodded, looking at Syra from head to toe. "You're not different from your photos, you know. I am Clara, this is Damian and Flora." I turned back but didn’t see anybody beside her. Syra also looked confused. "Sorry?" Syra said, looking at her. "I can’t see anybody beside you." Clara laughed and turned around. "Oh guys, stop it. Don’t make them scared; they are still amateurs." Something like black smoke displayed from Clara's corner and started opening like a door. A boy came out from it smiling. He was tall and lean, with white hair and rings all around his face. "Hi, sorry. I am Damian," he said, looking at us. I was still shocked when the other girl landed like a bird and stood up gently. She had yellow skin and pink hair like Clara. "Oh s**t, sorry, that landing wasn’t what I planned. Hi," she said, looking at us. Clara laughed and turned to Syra. "These are very mischievous people in my life," Clara said, looking at them. She turned back to Syra. "Level one?" "Of course not," Syra said. "Don’t doubt what I have." Clara and Damian came closer to Syra, looking at her. "We would love to see it," Flora said. "Don’t do it!" I quickly spoke, looking at Syra. "Remember Da…" I didn’t finish speaking before I totally forgot everything. I looked at the four people looking at me and didn’t remember them. But they started laughing. The other girl turned to them and spoke. "You understand what I just did? I manipulated her mind," she said, laughing. "Oh Syra, why do that to your sister? the one with pink hair asked. I turned around, but I couldn't remember anything or where I was. She said my sister? "My sister? I asked them, looking around. "Who is my sister? "Hi," a guy said as he came close to us. He was tall and extremely handsome with a cute face. "My name is Karl and..." He raised his hand toward my face, and instantly something like smoke came out. I sneezed and opened my eyes. I saw my sister Syra and Clara all looking my way, laughing. "Karl!" They covered their mouths, looking at the guy. "Come on, Karl, so you can talk to people like that, huh?" Flora said, trying to come close to him. But he shifted back and turned to Syra. "I heard you saying she is your sister. Just because you have such power doesn’t mean you should use it on her." I turned to Syra immediately, and she looked away. "Syra, did you just manipulate my mind?" Syra didn’t speak but looked away. "You guys new?" Karl said, looking at me. I nodded, still looking at Syra. "Come on, let me show you guys your room," Clara said, dragging Syra with her and helping with her bag. Her friends followed behind. "Come on," Karl said, and he carried my bag for me. I was still shocked, looking at Syra. I thought Dad told her not to use that power. So she still has it and can control it, I said to myself, still following them. "Is she empty?" Clara asked, looking back at Syra. Syra didn’t reply; she burst out laughing,
