HERMIONE'S POV
I let out a heavy sigh as I covered Phoenix's face with my hands.
“I'm not lying to you, I'm really good. It's just that, I'm exhausted after dealing with the nightmares. I'll be fine once I get plenty of rest.” I softly said while trying to assure him that I was doing fine.
However, how could Phoenix not notice how I distanced myself from him a little?
Although I was trying hard to act normal so that he wouldn't get caught in my act, I suppressed the painful feeling throbbing around my heart because whenever I looked at him, it would suddenly remind me of the Phoenix in my nightmare where he turned cold, looking at me nothing but pure disgust while keeping on claiming that he loved Mia over me.
