My eyes fell onto Jacques, who was silent and his eyes were staring intently at Megan, eagerly waiting for her answer.
But I know that although Jacques pretended to be cool about it and no matter what he heard, it wouldn't affect his love for her and the wedding was still on. He was still scared that Megan might realize that once she would marry him, she would be bound to that person forever.
Besides, how could Jacques not know that Megan before, didn't really like to be tied by someone, much more a marriage.
Jacques’ eyes right now were filled with questions and it was all seen by Megan.
Megan let out a soft chuckle as her hand flicked at his forehead.
“Why are you looking at me like that with a question in your head that I might regret marrying you?”
