Clara's POV -
He came close to me and held me; he was holding me so close that I could hear the words he was saying to me.
" I'm sorry, I'm so sorry; you know I do not want to see you this way; I'm sorry for not trusting you enough," he said.
I did not want to listen to him, but because of the way he kept begging me, I raised my head and looked at him.
" Amelia is going to always accuse me"
" I will make sure this never happens again, I swear it," he said.
I believed him as I fell into his open hands, his hands went to my back, and he patted it gently.
Life returned to normal for us; the Pack that Alpha Logan asked him to take over, he rejected and refused to be their Alpha; it was given to Mark.
We all gathered there that day as Mark became the new Alpha of that Pack.
